POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This year was truly one of the best in my life. I wouldn’t trade it for the world, and I am endlessly grateful to God and my village for making this opportunity a reality. Just one year ago, I was about to be officially crowned as Miss Creole Gumbo, and I didn’t know where this year would take me, but it has led to over 72 events across nearly 11,600 miles, endless memories, and a heart filled with so much gratitude and pride to have been your representative this year. 🥹🖤🥘✨

I am honored to say that I exceeded my own expectations of what this year would bring. I had the honor of representing Jefferson Parish in Washington DC for the Mystic Krewe of Louisianians Washington Mardi Gras Ball, was our first top 10 finalist at the LAFF Queen’s contest in nearly 40 years, and fell in love with this community over and over again with every person that I met. It has truly been an honor to wear this banner across my chest, as it signifies decades of tradition, history, love, community, and absolute passion for the mission that Monsignor Luminais started. 🥹🖤🥘✨

To my rhinestone sisters:
I have made some of my absolute best friends through being a festival queen, and you all have uplifted and inspired me so much throughout my reign; I am grateful for every laugh, sleepover, side-quest, line-dance, and long car ride, every strawberry picked and orange peeled, every oyster shucked or tossed, every questionable animal held, and every eating contest, as well as every bonfire built, craft decorated, flower thrown, and duck call blown, even if we’re doing it more for the laughs than any actual talent. I hope that you were just as excited to learn about ALL things gumbo as I was to learn about your communities and traditions. I know you will all absolutely embrace Harley as she begins this journey, and I am so excited to experience your events through her eyes this year. 😚🖤🥘✨🎡🕺🎶

GOOD MORNING, LSU!!!! 😚💖

My name is Kristen Richard and I have spent the last year serving as Honors College Council Treasurer. I am now SO excited to announce my candidacy for Honors College Council President!! I am running on the ticket UNITE because I believe that LSU is its best when all students come together and present a united front. I am proud to be a part of this ticket because of the commitment to defending and advocating for students at the highest level possible, and I am confident that Kelsey and Emma will do that- without fear of repercussions. I urge you to vote for me, and the entire UNITE ticket, so we can all come together and UNITE LSU🩷 #UNITE2025 #womackmiller2025

Kelsey and Emma - I am forever in awe of your love and dedication to LSU in both your previous roles and in this campaign. Your love of our students and advocating for THEM shines so bright in everything you’ve accomplished so far, and I can’t wait to see the incredible things you do moving forward, regardless of the outcome. I love you both so big and am so inspired by you!! 💖💖

Disclaimer: I do not speak for LSU Student Government or the current Honors College Council/OHC in my supporting Unite and running for this position! This election is completely separate from my current role in SG! taken in LSU Ogden Honors College by @krichard324
