Need a Baroque oboe? Check the yard. 🌳🎶
Our musicians perform on period instruments, which means gut strings, wooden flutes, and yes: oboes made from boxwood. May 27–June 7.

Playing J.S. Bach on Baroque oboe means keeping your instrument warm—even if that means tucking the top joint under your arm between movements. Wooden oboes crack in the cold, so oboists get creative with body heat!

Follow the Seattle Bach Festival to hear Baroque oboe in Tacoma, Lynnwood, and Seattle!

Find out at 7thstreetconcerts on October 9 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at 7pm as we explore the good, the bad, and the ugly sides of Caravaggio through music, storytelling, and more. We are not messing around here. Caravaggio deserves not one, but TWO theorbos. Come experience a truly unique sound and vibe with all this luxurious strumming and plucking from two fabulous players, John Lenti and Dan Swenberg! See us at @wednightliveclt and the @themintmuseum or at our venue, St Peter’s Episcopal Church! Shows October 7 and 9 in Charlotte!
