Just WOW, Chicago. You really showed off this weekend! 10/10 House DJ Boat Celebration on the River, WBC International Gala at Field Museum and of course, the epic Chicago Marathon. In case you’ve been living under a rock, Chicago was named Best Big City in the US by @condenasttraveller readers for the 10th consecutive year. That’s a Perfect 10 people! My heart could explode from the reaction of our Governor, our Mayor, our partners, our media, our residents and the hard work our team put into amplifying this moment. I’m so proud of this City and grateful to be part of this community. @choosechicago is simply the best…and we’re just getting started! 10/10 is officially “Best Big City Day”

Chicago is a city of action and I love every second of it. Friday started with the “Big Jump” in the Chicago River where I had the honor of introducing our amazing @choosechicago jumping team. So proud of them!! Then we took the Main Stage at @imtschicago to record our first @allfortheloveofchicago podcast focusing on the incredible trade show industry at @mccormickplace. Then it was time to wrap the week at the Latino Caucus Foundation Gala at the @chicagomuseum. This city. This team. This community= Truly second to none! A day that started with a @choosechicago Board Meeting @united , followed by the @blc_chicago Luncheon, followed by the @imtschicago Art Presentation celebrating another successful Chicago convention and culminating in a celebration of our Board Chair, Guy Chipparoni, at the @iaccchicago annual dinner. What an amazing night in NYC with my @choosechicago team where we showcased our city’s culinary stardom through our partnership with @beardfoundation. We are so proud to be the Official Destination Host for the annual James Beard Awards that celebrate culinary excellence and we welcomed top clients and media to learn why “Chicago’s having a moment”. Afterwards we sat outside on the eve of 9/11 and gazed at the beautiful skyline while reflecting on the moment 25 years ago that changed all of our lives and reminded us how resilient we are.
