happy birthday @darkfoggyforests !!!!!!!!!!!

Cannot believe we are almost 20... so scary to think about 😨 especially considering I vividly remember the day I first discovered your account wayyy back around 3 years ago now?? I think? Probably more 😭 I forget, I lose track of time 💔

Anyways... I wanted to draw Fengshu and Kaihua!! They're both so adorable... I drew the first piece over multiple days so I grew more attached to them than I anticipated 😣 and I finished it a week early so I also drew the (probably OOC) doodles at the end. And also I'm honestly terrible at these atmospheric type pieces so I wanted to also add some extra stuff to make up for it... ARRGHH IM SO MAD AT MYSELF, I HAD A VISION AND I FUMBLED IT I'M SORRY 🥀

As always Gabi's character designs are gorgeous!!! I definitely did not do these ones justice 😞 Fun fact, I originally drew Kaihua's later design in the first piece (I had it lined and everything) before realizing... wait wouldn't Kaihua try to disguise himself in front of Fengshu... hmm.... SO I. ERASED THE HOUR OR SO OF WORK AND STARTED FROM SCRATCH 😭😭😭 I REGRETTED IT INSTANTLY but.. oh well 🫠

Gabi you are so awesome take care of yourself, don't burn out, your art is so so beautiful I'm so proud of you ‼️‼️‼️ have the best day ever

HA did you really think i was going to not draw aventurine ⁉️ i'm a proud day 1 aventurine haver and i would gladly die for this man no questions asked... a 7 hour drawing is nothing 💪

i love him to bits. like. a hot smart smug traumatized queercoded gambler dressed like a peacock AND with a tiddy window?? he was destined to be perfection from the get go...

also his story broke my heart 🥹 he's such a great guy and he deserves all the good in the world. if he needs a therapist he can hit me up!!!! (i'd sob uncontrollably listening to him)

I created a Natlan Genshin OC! Obviously Natlan hasn't come out yet so I have no idea what the designs are going to be like... my guess was an Aztec-inspired region so that's kinda what I was going for?

That being said, I still don't have a name for her 😭 I searched up Aztec names and had no idea how to pronounce half of them... but they're pretty and I can't choose so I wouldn't mind help???

ALSO I got SO EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED to her??? she's so fun to draw and she's so pretty and cute and I kinda have a mini obsession now... (one of the portraits wasn't supposed to be there... it's VERY out of place and also very self indulgent... you can definitely guess which 😵)

oh yeah and I also included some close-up versions of some of the clothing details that would probably be difficult for someone to draw just because I know how hard it is to draw stuff like that without a proper reference

twelve hours... i spent twelve hours drawing this... and i spent at least two redrawing the nose... but i'm free... wait wait NO

*screams as the Voices pull me back down into the abyss*

anyways

i've recently fallen down the haikaveh rabbit hole (they're my parents) so i thought it would be cool to draw alhaitham (i severely underestimated the clothing details which was stupid considering this is GENSHIN 😭)

this was very experimental for me because i rarely render noses properly (is it just me that finds drawing nostrils so embarrassing??)

even though i had the urge to launch myself out of a window multiple times during the process of drawing this, i'm mostly happy with the end result!! 🤩

don't mind him he's just a little eepy

i'm ngl, this was supposed to be a silly little doodle but i ended up rendering it and the background was very spontaneous so everything looks a little stiff and odd and sjdhfjhdbd idk it feels like everything went wrong 😵

but anyways this took too long not to post... plus it's literally kaedehara babygirl kazuha so i am legally obligated to post this regardless of how i feel about it... 🤭

ngl it's still a little basic but I could not for the life of me think of anything to add 😭 my creativity does not work in my favour when it comes to character design

the rendering took literal AGES, especially the hair??? how do people render gradient hair so well?? i think the hair alone took 2+ hours 🥹 but oh well
