It feels like time is moving faster than ever. One season becomes the next. Months disappear. Our calendars fill up, life changes - and sometimes we look around and wonder, where did the time go?

We can’t slow the time down, but we can practice being more present for all of it. When was the last time you:

•Noticed the feeling of your feet on the earth?
•Listened to the sound of birds in the trees?
•Took a deep breath?
•Enjoyed a meal shared slowly?
•Had a long conversation without checking the time?
•Noticed the quiet moments in between?

This is the heart of our upcoming retreat - a week to step away from the rush and make space to truly experience who we are in this beautiful world. Because being present is a practice.

This March, we’ll gather in the mountains of Puerto Rico to explore that practice through yoga, meditation, creativity, nature, sensory exploration, and community.

It was hard to capture all of the great things that happened when I went back to India in 2017 and again in 2019. I bought the yoga studio in 2018, otherwise I’m certain I would have gone then too.

In one week from now I head back to India co-leading a retreat with my dear friend @gopikinnicutt who I trained with at the @govardhan_ecovillage in 2017 getting my 500 hour yoga teaching certification. Really a full circle moment being able to share all the magic with others. Thankful for all this life is offering me! ✨

This retreat was filled with yoga, laughter, deep reflection, and so much wisdom from so many amazing people. We are so grateful for this beautiful circle of women who held space for each other in the most caring way.

Thank you a million times to the wonderful staff and all of the healers at @amansalatulum - the Muiyl lagoon float, the Cacao Sound and Mayan Clay Ceremonies, the Mayan Temazcal plus all the other offerings were life changing. We truly can’t wait to come back.

2016 was the first trip I took to India and to say it was life changing wouldn’t explain it fully. 🤍

Being at the Govardhan Ecovillage and the flower festival in Mumbai were incredible experiences. Taking a boat to the elephanta caves, being in Govardhan and Vrindavan where we visited sacred places and spent time with the sweetest family and girls at the FFLV school, and seeing the Taj Mahal - these were things I never thought I would experience in my life. I was not in a great place, and this trip gave me the shift my heart needed. I loved it so much I went back again in 2017 and then again in 2019. In a lot of ways, India saved my life. 🤍

It’s 10 years later and I’m going back and co-leading a retreat with Yoga Mandali’s original owner and my dear friend @gopikinnicutt October 11-23 and we would love for you to come. Open your heart and explore this beautiful world, all at once. DM me for more info! 🤍

In 2017, I had the incredible blessing of walking barefoot around Govardhan Hill in India — a 13 mile journey of devotion, peace, and connection.

I remember stepping out of the car and taking my shoes off on the pavement. I had never taken a 13 mile walk, and definitely had never done it barefoot. I really didn’t know what to expect, but I knew every step is said to be a prayer.

The hill isn’t just a place. It’s a living part of a divine story when Krishna lifted Govardhan with his little finger to shelter the people from Indra’s storm. A story of love, humility, and the power of divine protection.

As I walked the path, through different terrain, visiting villages and temples, I felt something shifting inside of me. If you know my story you know the heartache I was going through, and it was this walk that I understood there was a bigger reason for all of it. For that, I’m eternally grateful - and am forever walking this path in my heart. ❤️🙏
