POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our time in Vrindavan has been a beautiful immersion into the stories, devotion, and sacred places connected to Krishna’s childhood. ✨

Staying at the MVT and exploring Vrindavan, we’ve had the opportunity to visit places where Krishna played, loved, and grew up — bringing the stories we’ve been carrying with us on this journey to life.

At Radharaman, we felt especially connected to the deep devotion that permeates this amazing place. We also visited the sacred sites where Krishna’s childhood pastimes unfolded — including the places connected to the stories of him playfully stealing butter. 🤍

There is something so moving about walking through these ancient spaces and remembering that these aren’t simply stories here — they are living traditions, woven into the daily rhythms, prayers, songs, and hearts of the people here.

And now, we continue on to Govardhan… following the stories a little further, preparing for our 14 mile Parikrama around this sacred hill - with full hearts and grateful for every step of this beautiful journey. ✨

Our time in Mayapur this week has been filled with sacred places, temples, chanting, and a deep immersion into the Bhakti tradition.✨

The lineage here is rooted in love for Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, revered as the union of Radha and Krishna. Over 500 years ago, he brought Kirtan—the devotional practice of chanting sacred names—out of secrecy and into the streets, where it has continued to spread around the world.

To be surrounded by these mantras, this devotion, and such a deep love for the Divine is an experience many of us have never known quite like this. 🤍

One more day in Mayapur before we journey onward to Vrindavan. We are feeling grateful, humbled, and open to whatever comes next. 🙏🏽✨

It feels like time is moving faster than ever. One season becomes the next. Months disappear. Our calendars fill up, life changes - and sometimes we look around and wonder, where did the time go?

We can’t slow the time down, but we can practice being more present for all of it. When was the last time you:

•Noticed the feeling of your feet on the earth?
•Listened to the sound of birds in the trees?
•Took a deep breath?
•Enjoyed a meal shared slowly?
•Had a long conversation without checking the time?
•Noticed the quiet moments in between?

This is the heart of our upcoming retreat - a week to step away from the rush and make space to truly experience who we are in this beautiful world. Because being present is a practice.

This March, we’ll gather in the mountains of Puerto Rico to explore that practice through yoga, meditation, creativity, nature, sensory exploration, and community.

One of our favorite signs of fall at Yoga Mandali? A new group of teachers gathering in the studio for the first weekend of our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training! 🍂 ✨

There’s something about the beginning of a new season that helps us notice the beginnings happening around us, too. And now, the Fall Equinox arrives — a moment of balance between light and dark, reminding us that there is beauty in both the growing and the slowing down.

Here’s to finding a little more balance, wherever we are in our own season. Happy Fall Equinox! 🤎✨
