Staying - as the person someone remembers is to be

Staying - becasue it’s what’s expected

Staying- when they are comparing me to whatever version they think I should be in their head versus the version of me that I am.

When staying betrays the person we are we can no longer stay.

Summer highlights.

It wasn’t just any summer. It was a summer of healing. Trying new things. Connecting with old friends. Meeting new friends.

Enjoying the days without any shoulds or have tos. Healing, that’s what this summer was about.

Autumn is here, and I’m on a journey of embracing what’s, while looking forward to all this but to come.

I was told recently that my future is waiting for me with open arms and warm embrace.

It is. I cannot fully step into it if I keep dragging my past into today.

It’s ok to be happy. It’s ok to be a little scared. It’s ok to show up a little messy. It’s ok to still be healing and let love find me. It’s ok to love. It’s ok to be loved. It’s ok to be happy.
