For legal reasons this is a joke 😂 Kidding - kind of… slow fashion is a beast. As founders we want to build fashion brands differently - ethically, sustainably, slower, more mindfully but man is it an uphill battle. When you see fast fashion brands breaking record billion dollar revenues and you’re revenue is on the decline it can really make you question your life choices 😮‍💨July has been an absolute nightmare revenue wise. My @encircled_ dressy sweatpants shown here are almost 7 years old, and have been worn at least twice a week (and admittedly they’ve been in the dryer a bunch) and only now are they starting to show a little wear.That’s over 700+ wears! This is what quality clothing is capable of ✌🏻 So, when people say “your pants are so expensive” I try to educate them on this, however as a society we’ve been taught to buy cheap and accept that clothing is “poorly made” these days. That’s for sure a generalization and not the rule. Looking to shop quality clothing? Be sure to read content labels and to support slow fashion brands who produce intentionally in small batches locally so they can keep an eye on quality and construction which matters for longevity of clothing. #entrepreneur #slowfashion #qualityovereverything #capsulewardrobe by @kristisoomer
