Part 2: *beginner tips* for improving artwork & getting booked

🎨 1. you gotta be willing to make bad art, it’s part of the process. stop comparing your work to the masters, they went through their beginning phase already.

⭐️ 2. release perfectionism. it’s unobtainable and its ego based. get back to your “why” and anchor in the joy of creating, always.

🎨 3. make free artwork - this will help hone your skills and get you booked for more jobs that are relative. say “no” to any work you wouldn’t want to be paid for and “yes” to the work you would. add it to your portfolio.

⭐️ 4. (i honestly missed tip 4 overall) BUT there’s a lesson in knowing what you put out you will get back. so put energy into the work you are doing and don’t rush your process.

🎨 5. follow through. never abandon a project because it’s too difficult to see your way out in the middle of it. take a break, look up some helpful tips from people who have done it before you & know that any opportunity that comes your way is meant for you. integrity is a HUGE part of the game & goes alongside tip 4 :)

imposter syndrome is real but we bust through it with our full force because this is what my soul came here to express & my mind isn’t ever going to get in the way of that🩷
