POSTS STORIES REELS

August/September was spent with friends and family all over the country. I feel fortunate to be able to spend so much time away from home with all the people I love dearly. Damn, what a month.

(Not featured: many moments in which I didn’t take photos, damn it.) by @krosslandshaw

I’ll miss this little guy for the rest of my life. Love you, little Brix. by @krosslandshaw

It was an absolute BLAST to celebrate the love and unity of some of my closest friends, @lindsbaefundeen and @m0nster_sam. Cheers to forever together. 🥂 ❤️

Swipe to watch as we slowly devolve all while having the absolute best time.

“Language is all we have!”

I’ve been thinking about what I’d say when I wrote this post at various stages this weekend. It all started with a little lie about going on a condo tour, since Bing has been talking about moving for a couple of months. We make it to the place, lights off, and a number of my friends and family were sitting in the dark. They’d rented a beach bungalow for the weekend, and wanted to just hang out. Bing even got my boss in on it, so I had some time off while they were here.

Many of my friends were able to make it (and a couple weren’t because of other circumstances), and rent a bungalow on the beach all the while getting to bring them around to some of my favorite places in town.

I “planned” a day out with on Saturday friends where I was going to take them to a couple of places starting at End of Days, and then ending at The Sorrow Drowner, my favorite place to grab drinks in town. Bing says he’s got a reservation for us at 7, and I get the rest of us there at 6:50 because it sounded like Bing potentially wasn’t going to be on time. I’m greeted at the door, I turn the corner, and recognize a bunch of faces behind the bar. Everyone in the room turns, inhales quickly, and starts singing happy birthday for me 10 minutes early. The stage behind everyone is set, and I see both House and Home and the Cherie Amour boys there. There’s a custom cocktail, a dinner menu… and just so many smiling faces that completely blew me away. Dinner, drinks, a concert, friends… all of it. Shit.

I’m kind of just rambling and blubbering at this point, just like I was all weekend, which is where the “Language is all we have” devolved as a bit into “Words’s all we got” as my friends poked fun at my inability to be precise with my language. So I guess I’ll try to wrap it up.

I don’t know what I did to deserve or earn such excellent people everywhere in my life, but from the bottom of my heart for all those of you who made this weekend (and the rest of my life) so special, thank you.

Thanks Bing for masterminding this whole thing, and pulling it out of literal thin air. You got me so good with the whole weekend. I can’t imagine having a more memorable birthday. by @krosslandshaw

Horror books and sick kickflips. Really cool to add this one to the collection. #stephenking by @krosslandshaw

It was an incredible pre-birthday weekend spent with some of my closest friends. Thank you for making the trip, and handling the MTA like champs by @krosslandshaw

Oh dear, I’ve become a little too much to bear by @krosslandshaw

It’s been a week truly unlike any other. I got to go see Angels and Airwaves, which has always felt incomprehensibly important to me. I got to see Blink-182 not once, but twice (including the most insanely intimate show I’ve ever been to), and Blink’s incredible album “Nine” came out this week. I couldn’t have asked for much more. by @krosslandshaw

You’re getting old so freaking old. Well, actually we’re aging at exactly the same rate- but jeez, you’re already 23 and absolutely have launched yourself into an incredible life. You’ve broken barriers (no shock), pushed boundaries (still, no shock), and won’t stop for anyone (... you know the drill). I’m so incredibly proud to have you as a sister... and I’m lucky you still like me back. After all, you did get busted for stealing the Oreos for me, and I totally sold you out. A couple of times. I’ll still like you when you’re 23. 24... that’s another question entirely by @krosslandshaw

Few bands in my library that are more legendary- glad I got to see them at my last Warped Tour by @krosslandshaw

I was truly geeking out last night. I’ve been trying to find a way to cross @stubhy and @wolfkrier off the list forever- and after years and years, it was an absolutely mind blowing experience to get to sing along to some of the songs that shaped me. I was completely unprepared for the photo here- but you can see my genuine happiness. Thanks so much, see you boys again soon. by @krosslandshaw
