If we can’t stand being sober… we might not be as spiritually awakened as we think we are.

If we constantly need weed, alcohol, psychedelics, or something to change our consciousness so we can enjoy our reality…

maybe we not expanding our consciousness.

Maybe we are escaping it.

Because real alignment aint about constantly finding something to take us somewhere else.

It’s being able to sit with our own mind when there’s nothing to alter our state.

Can we handle silence?

Can we handle boredom?

Can we handle our own thoughts without immediately reaching for something?

Because if peace only exists after we change our state…

We don't control our consciousness. Our coping mechanism does.

And here’s the uncomfortable truth:

If we have to leave ourselves to finally like ourself…

We not escaping reality.
We escaping the person we haven’t learned to live with and accept unconditionally & completely.
