We moved our girl into her new dorm on Friday 💛
Do we miss her? ABSOLUTELY
Are we endlessly excited for this new season in her life!! Yes!

This is her time to go places and stretch farther than she ever has. She needed a larger space and new places to grow in. I look forward to the phone calls, texts messages and dare I say the uncomfortable silence waiting to hear from her. I pray the silence means she is doing it. Growing, standing, stretching and conquering life on her own. The moments we talked to Jesus about as we guided her in our home are being lived out. The whole point of raising her was for her to become independent of us. Of course I will miss her “whimsy” as she calls it, her spontaneity, her endless song lyrics in response to my questions, her daily joyful presence, her banter with Tanner, their sibling jokes, the laughter she creates and invites people into our home with. I will miss regularly being in the room where she leads people to Jesus through praising and worshiping Him.

What I’ve realized this time, moving the second child to college, is I’m not losing those moments. I’m gaining more. More of her unique nature that God created in her, in different forms. More opportunities to watch her become who she was created to be. More stories. More adventures. More moments and spaces I look forward to her one day inviting me into.
Of course it is still a big change~
Our hearts have been protecting them for 18 years. Our homes grew as they did. And suddenly, it is quieter. The nights feel longer. I’ve received texts/calls from friends praying for me. They are our village. We are blessed. One friend texted me prayers the weeks before taking Kyrsten to college 4 years ago. She was faithful to text her prayers then and she has been faithful to text as we moved Karlee.

Friends~if you’ve read this far 😂 ~ and if you are in this season with me, surround yourself with people in your life who pray for you, you pray for them, and they are there when you are in tears from the change and quieter evenings. They remind us our children belong to Jesus and He is taking them places we could never take them ourselves. 🤍
Here’s to Year 1 Karls! 💛🌼🩵 by @krystal.low

Another beautiful Konos’ production of Fiddler on the Roof. Karlee and Tucker have had the best time being in highschool together and had fun rehearsing and preparing for this play together. A beautiful play full of stories God used to minister to my weary heart. I am thankful my middle two courageously stepped into new roles and stretched themselves in the best ways. Our Crew finished 2025 by taking a last minute road trip to Orlando the morning after Christmas, then onto Miami by New Years Eve.
A few of my favorite things from our trip:
🏈 Tanner + Tucker watching GT in the Poptart Bowl with our Georgia Tech tailgate crew
🍄 Universal’s Epic Theme park is AWESOME, the details = so good! Love Mario World ⭐️ 🤩
🐵 Logan and I share a mutual love for theme parks! He and I stay until closing time and have a blast just the two of us (The rest of my crew leave the parks by dinner time 🤣)
🛺 If we see a tuk-tuk we will always stop, most likely take a picture and remember Nepal 🤍
🍭 Theme Park dress up is so fun! I love that my sweet girls have fun dressing up with me too
🏝️ Miami with Tanner’s parents and our Low family in Texas was a fun time! South Beach was cold in December but had beautiful views ☀️
🏈 Our final destination was cheering “Guns Up”for our nephew Trent and the Texas Tech Red Raiders (Tanner’s alma mater) in the college football playoffs at the Hardrock Stadium. That was a super cool experience for us all!
Spending time with family is my favorite way to spend time, I’m so thankful for the fun memories made together and seeing family we don’t get to see often enough. I look forward to new adventures in 2026 with my crew.
