Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to adapt, learn, and form new neural connections and behavioral patterns.

Listening to the harp melodies encourages the brain to engage with sound through attention, sensory processing, and emotional awareness.

With repeated exposure, the nervous system slows down, supports recovery, and gradually develops automatic behavior patterns of self-regulation.

As a behaviorist with 10+ years of clinical work, I’ve spent most of my career observing how repetition, environment, and experience shape behaviors. This harp offering is an evolution of my practice. Beyond grateful to be sharing this passion project with you.

Tagged my military uniform that I wore in war the night before I performed at FPAC @filamartsla

What made it extra special is @zufos_ doing the magic at @urgepalette . Thank you Kuya Fritz for consecrating this uniform, it now holds a new meaning to me.

Serving in the US Army and getting deployed to the war in the Middle East severed my connection to my roots. Wearing this uniform at my performance symbolizes coming home to my Filipino heritage, carrying within me ~light, peace, and love.

Wowza, September was a crystalline burst of love and playful magic. So far, my busiest month of performing! I met so many incredible people and made precious connections along the way.

It started off with me sharing an original Tagalog song at @filamartsla FPAC and ended with a last minute live improv play back with @iesolsticetheatre at Pitzer college for @nurseunseendoc , an award winning documentary, honoring the stories of Filipino nurses.

Bonafide signs to continue reconnecting with my roots as I step into October for Filipino American History Month. I have never felt so aligned. Plus, my first born is turning 13 soon! Lock in

I’m surrendering to the flow of this seemingly charming chapter of my life. Feels like I am on the precipice of something interesting, I can’t quite put into words yet.

So many muses and unsung melodies. My heart is emanating with joy and my mind is oscillating between different parallels of possibilities. I’m curious to see where the music will take me

To the ones who listened or played with me, thank you, salamat.

New szn, new veiled harpist

I was a circus performer when I tried past-life regression.

So when @projectheartshine posted that their September’s theme was Carnival, my heart immediately lit up, and I reached out to see if I could join in the fun.

In a world that can be relentless, it’s easy to forget what love is. We forget how to play, which is a natural human expression. Spaces like this remind me of that eternal love that radiates from within. It’s in all of us.

We gotta keep it shining ✨

Aside from making music, and being a mom, I wanted to share something that feels deeply sacred to me.

This year, I’ve found a deeper bond with Mother Ocean. I spent two months surfing from Guanacaste Costa Rica beaches to California state beaches. Surfing is a humbling mirror, it challenges the ego, tests self-doubt, and requires being equanimous amid the waves. I’ma life long student.

Wipe out -> get back up -> paddle out. Over and over just like life until you catch your wave. You luxuriate in that high. Thank the angels and repeat.

There’s something about refusing to give up when life pushes you under:

Resilience.

In this journey, I’ve discovered priceless blessings ~ kindred connections and a profound respect for the sea. I intend to keep nurturing this gift from the universe. I’m intrigued to see how this energy ripples into everything else I do.

It’s been two weeks since the grand finale of Alaï y Las Marionetas. The energy still lingers as I continue to integrate.

Thank you @alaimargarita for bringing your creative vision to life. Thank you for having me as your harpist. It’s an honor to play with you & the crew. Grateful and humbled to co-create with amazing & devoted artists and musicians.

Thank you friends, family, and lovers who came to the shows. Forever in awe. This experience meant so much to me as my daughter was in the audience & she got to experience the magic & beauty of the performance.

Congratulations for six successful shows with the last three being sold out! Viva Alaï y Las Marionetas! 🦉🫏🎠

Jamming with da homies @urgepalette back alley on a Monday night feels right.

Recent experiments: challenging myself to gain more confidence in impromptu jam sessions. This includes ear training and familiarizing myself with different scales.
