☁️ we’re so close to 2026 I’m not even sure where this year went. It’s all like a blur, with slow moving moments - but it all went by so quickly. How??

Week update:

📖 what I’m reading:
- I finished Dorian Gray and honestly, it was a really good book. I have it 4.25✨ but I’ll tell you more about that once I write a review. I just need to gather my thoughts.💭
- Currently reading ‘My Friends’ by Fredrik Backman and my heart breaks with every new page, so there’s that. Can’t wait to tell you all about it once I finish.

📼 what I’m watching:
- I’m in such a mood for old Disney movies, like ‘101 dalmatians’ or ‘Lady and the Tramp’ or ‘The Aristocats’. These made my childhood so much better and I’ll never forget the joy of watching these as a kid. So much nostalgia.😭

🎄what I’m looking forward:
- Putting up a Christmas tree! I’ll probably do it beginning of December, I just need to buy some ornaments - but I also may just do like Christmas lights and little red bows. I have a vision, so I’ll let you know gow it goes.

🎨 what I want to do more:
- I’m someone who can’t dedicate to anything like 100%, hobby wise. I’ll start something, then I won’t do it for months. But I want to do some kind of scrapbooking or junk journaling. I have so many little things from traveling and every day life, and it’s all in boxes under the bed. If this is your hobby - please tell me all the tips and tricks.🫶🏼

☁️🪵🍂🕯️

✨ so recently I hit a 2K milestone and I just want to say thank you to all of you! I truly appreciate the support and love, and being here makes me so happy! There are no words to express my gratitude. I’m so beyond grateful ♥️ can I hug you all?!?!🫂

reading updates: currently reading ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’ so I’m on a good way to finish my 7 before the end. Hopefully I’ll be able to squeeze in more reads, but let’s not be too optimistic.
- sadly I had to dnf ‘Shor Letter, Long Farewell’ because I don’t have time for bad books. Not now.

listening update: i’m back to TayTay and Folklore/Evermore/Midnights album. But I’m also listening to a lot of Lord Huron.

watching update: not much happening here, but I came across a movie called ‘Steel Magnolias’ starring Julia Roberts & Sally Field and I cried my eyes out. Not the best movie ever, but still so heartbreaking.💔

🫶🏼 Sunday blues

- This Sunday is perfect for sipping coffees and teas, watching movies and listening to some good music.
✨ It was a pretty calm week, filled with family time and spending some time outside.

- I finished ’Spectacular Things’ by Becky Dorey-Stein and it was a solid 4 stars read, emotional and inspiring. If you have a sister, prepare the tissues because tears were shed.
- Currently reading ‘Short letter, long farewell’ and it’s going to be a good dnf - because I can’t with hysterical books. It makes me nauseous.👀

📖 The quote in the second slide is from ‘Second Death of Locke’ and I think this painting perfectly describes our two mc. One of my favorite reads of this year 🫶🏼

🎄 December moments

- the last half of December was super busy and I wasn’t much active here. But nonetheless, it was such a beautiful month - full of love and happiness. Will cherish it forever 🤍

I hope you had beautiful Christmas! I look forward to celebrating Christmas on the 7th of January, so the festivities are yet to begin!🫠

✨let’s wrap up 2025

- Not many books read, but here are some of my favs! Discovered some new authors this year and I’m so happy because of that, and I look forward to reading more of their books and stories.🫶🏼

I don’t have big plans for 2026 reading wise, I’ll just go with a flow. There are some big series I want to dive into, as well as some new releases next fall. Can’t wait to see what the next year will bring.🥹

If I finish ‘The Year of Magical Thinking’ by the end of the year, I will gladly add it to this list.

💌 my two favs by my fav author @backmansk

1: And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer
2: My Friends

- These two books are the ones I think about often. I’m surprised by Backman’s ability to capture every possible feeling and actually describe it so perfectly, that sometimes you wonder ’is this man living inside my head🧍🏼???’.
One thing about his writing style, that I know is not for everyone - you’ll bawl your eyes one moment, and the next page you’ll laugh out loud. Not because it’s not serious, but because it is. He perfectly describes the way grief is so strangely built, how it never leaves you and you carry this heavy burden non stop - but it gives you breaks, to rest and for a while to forget. He perfectly describes how nostalgia has its own ways of appearing, and how you live with that. You cry A LOT, but you also laugh and smile and enjoy the simple things of life.

- I think he quickly became my favorite author just because through his books, I was able to see myself and understand myself better that I had in years. It’s strange how much comfort some books can bring you, and how you can lose half your heart while reading - because it will break. But it will heal, and you’ll be whole again.❤️‍🩹

✨ book stacks all over the place

- Living in a pretty small flat, with zero space for bookshelves, your dining table becomes a perfect place for books. Or your window sill - even when you know you’ll complain later that your books are *yellow*.
- I don’t actually mind setups like this, because they give my home a soul and beauty. And I love when someone comes to visit they’re always ‘you have soooo many books’ 🤭

✨Anywayyyy, I can’t wait to have my house and the biggest library and collection of books. We have some plans for the near future, and I realized maybe I won’t have enough books to fill out the shelves. So now I’m on a shopping spree every time I visit a bookstore.😈

- Tell me, do you think having too many books is possible?!

✨ little recap of my time in Milano 🫧

- I truly had the best time, it was so nice and I enjoyed strolling through streets of beautiful Varenna and Milano, seeing the cutest Christmas decorations (even tho I just realized I don’t have any photos of it 😬) and eating delicious food!

☁️ Duomo di Milano might be the most beautiful architectural site I’ve ever seen. Construction began in 1386 and it was finished in 1965 and WHAT A MAGNIFICENT THING TO WITNESS. The details and precision of sculptures and art is beyond amazing and I could honestly watch it for a lifetime.

📖 So, there were so many books I wanted to buy but I came back with only one - The Second Death of Locke. You can’t even imagine my excitement when I saw it and I had to buy it. My precious 🫠
- The Vinyl selection was wow, but I didn’t have space to get any and so I left the bookstore heartbroken.

- And say ‘hi’ to my newest friend!! He was so lovely, I almost took it home with me 🤭🦜

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Now we’re going back to regular content 🙂‍↕️

🍂 until next year, my dear November

- last goodbyes to my favorite month of the year, and slowly waiting for the winter to creep through the cracks of my soul.
Even though I’m an autumn child through and through, I’m excited for December, all the festivities and new year. So many exciting things are awaiting me and my heart is super full and happy.

- November was one of the best reading month this year and I’m super proud! There are few more books I need to read before the end and I can’t wait 🙂‍↕️

- Happy Friday my loves 🫶🏼 i hope you’re doing well!
✨ How are you spending these last few days of November? I’m trying to read as much as possible and I just finished ‘My Friends’ by Fredrik Backman! Highly recommend if you’re up for some tears 🥲

So now, I want to read some high/epic fantasy or some good romantasy! Please give me some recs or vote what should I start next!🫶🏼

🖤 Dead Poets Society is one of these movies that you never actually move on from. You always come back to it, no matter how devastating it is.
This may be the first book adaptation that I love more than the book itself.
