i did indeed make it to the seaside…

im doing a masters in nature conservation 🧚🏾‍♂️ it was calling me before i even realised. it just took an extensive pro con list and friends to remind me of what i truly desire to finally let go of the mind and follow my joy…which is now this peaceful, slow, sauna filled, cafe loving, studying rich, sea surrounded, folky life in fal 🫶🏽

it look my nervous system a few days to settle into this calmness - a big change from london. it was odd at first, kind of unsettling to hear the waves and sea birds instead of traffic, to not need noise cancelling headphones to walk around. being in a place where the air is warmer and saltier, where i see more boats instead of sky rises, shorelines instead of the cityscape. the storms are rougher. the wind sounds scary sometimes. yet my skin is clearer, my hair is frizzer and my heart is happier.

if this is the closest i can get to living my tropical island gyal life in the uk… i’ll take it. happily. taken in Falmouth, Cornwall by @kseneeya
