☕🍫 Bean there, done that? Not until you’ve experienced Costa Rica like THIS!

One of the most authentic coffee and chocolate experiences we found was at Coffee and Chocolate Tours Don Jorge @agro_ecoturisticadonjorge — an educational farm where learning is just as delicious as the tasting! 🇨🇷

From hands-on activities that take you from bean to bar (and sampling the goods along the way) every part of this tour was exceptional. And the sweetest souvenir? Chocolate bars we made ourselves! 🍫🙌

We left with more knowledge, more curiosity, and a whole new appreciation for the craft behind two of our favorite indulgences.

Now THAT’S how you do a Costa Rican coffee break! ☕🌿

🌿 This part of the adventure took us HIGH above the rainforest! 🇨🇷🌧️

Walking among the treetops at @misticopark in Costa Rica is a whole different kind of adventure! Suspended bridges, lush jungle canopies, misty mountain views, and the sounds of the rainforest all around us. 🌳🐒

We even saw some new wildlife that we hadn’t spotted previously! But the highlight of THIS adventure were the six hanging bridges high up in the canopy ✨

Life is short! Take the road less traveled — cross the bridge — and look up!

🐒🦜 #TravelTuesday, Costa Rica style! 🇨🇷

One morning. One private boat. SO MUCH wildlife! 🐊🐒🦅

A private safari with @canonegroexperiencenaturetours delivered the kind of Costa Rica adventure you dream about! From fascinating birds and reptiles to monkeys swinging through the wetlands, we spotted SO many of the creatures that bring wildlife lovers here.

And a special shoutout to Renato, who taught me how to properly use binoculars. 🔭 Not only did I finally get the hang of it, but I actually SAW something for the first time! 😂

Top it all off with a ridiculously delicious lunch afterward, and you’ve got yourself one muy bueno morning in #CostaRica! 🌿☀️

#ThrowbackThursday Back in June, I had the opportunity to attend press preview day at the Obama Center before it officially opened in Chicago. (It’s been quite a year of Presidential Libraries for me thanks to @cspanhistory !)

The museum was largely the focus for our purposes, but beyond the museum walls, the campus itself is a destination.

A highlight of the day was speaking with Valerie Jarrett and Museum Director Louise Bernard about the vision behind the Center and the community role it hopes to play in the future — deeply rooted in Chicago’s Southside.

✈️ This #TravelTuesday takes me back to West Branch, Iowa — where history, hometown pride, and presidential roots came together!

In August I traveled to West Branch to film a tour of the newly reopened @hooverlibrarymuseum and experience the annual @hoovershometowndays festival celebrating Iowa’s only native-born president. 🇺🇸

Cue the tissues.

A beautiful but bittersweet night at the @preventcancer Gala in DC, learning about new approaches to cancer prevention and honoring champions including Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Richard Neal (D-Mass)

The room was in tears hearing Lorelei’s story - a #PreventCancer team member diagnosed and passing away all within the last year 😭 A powerful reminder of why prevention and early detection matter so much.

There was fun, too! And a stunning Puerto Rico theme 🇵🇷 And over $95,000+ was raised before I left the building!

From the convention floor to presidential history — what a week in Dallas! 🤠🎥

I had the opportunity to field produce @CSPAN coverage of the first-ever GOP midterm convention in Dallas, and there’s nothing quite like being in the middle of the action and helping bring a major live production together.

Even better? Getting to work alongside the incredible C-SPAN team. This is truly a group that somehow makes the complicated look effortless — and makes a little television magic happen along the way. ✨

And because this was Dallas, there was plenty of American history to explore for @cspanhistory programming, too. Highlights included visits to the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum and the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza … two very different windows into pivotal chapters of American history.

A week of politics, production, history, long days, great colleagues — and more than a little Texas-sized fun along the way. 🤠🇺🇸⭐️

🥂 50 looks very good on @allisonpriebe_queenbee !!
And what better way to celebrate an effervescent friend than with dinner, dancing & DC views?!

🚢 It was not my first time aboard the Odyssey — or my fourth. But this cruise? Definitely a favorite. Because Allison — and John! — didn’t just come aboard…
they brought the PARTY. 🎉

And by the end of the night, there was a whole boatload of new friends celebrating one endlessly fun woman.

I was honored to be invited - and to be temporarily responsible for Bernice the Goose. 🪿
