new moon in libra incoming 🌙 new paintings incoming

As I look at the chart for the new moon this weekend, I am thinking about the discomfort of new beginnings. Libra likes everything to be balanced in perfect harmony - but we need the mess of early marks before we can shape something graceful and elevated.

It requires bravery to show up with dignity as we try to do new things. To do this no matter how others may receive us. The highest expressions of Libra teaches us to find inner equilibrium and anchor into the self before reading the room. Uncomfortable for many of us .

Libra’s ruler venus has turned inwards in deeply feeling Scorpio, reminding us to tend to our deepest values , to find the power of our own self worth first then create from that place .

Mars in Leo brings the bravery to act from our heart space.

Uncomfortable, yes, but beauty waits on the other side . And Libra knows the the power of beauty ✨ by @ktsmail

For me, the most powerful thing about both Art and Astrology is the celebration and expression of our own unique, individual human magic ✨ something that the robots can never have no matter how much the dorks in charge might try 🎀 by @ktsmail

🎐🌸💚 〰️ SUMMER SOLSTICE 〰️🌷🩵🌼

The Summer Solstice falls this Sunday in the northern hemisphere; the longest , brightest day . The energy of the earth at its most joyful, solar, external . Shiny life !

We also slip into Cancer season, land of primal emotions and deep nurturing. Cancer, in its highest expressions, teaches us to mother the self first, to tend to our feeling body and inner worlds before reaching outwards. A relief after spinny, cerebral Gemini season which can feel so overwhelming. And a balm to this very external time in the northern hemisphere.

When we build a quiet, safe place for our inner world to rest, then we are able to show up as our shiny selves amongst the joyful flowers in this world.

Take good care of your tender feelings, my friends ! Retreat into that shell when you need to . Take a bath :)
