Maa - The Goddess comes home… ❤️🙏

Some blessings arrive wrapped in love, devotion and the most thoughtful gestures. 🪷

A heartfelt thank you to my dearest friend for this beautiful Pujo prasad, lovingly chosen with such precious things and so much meaning. Every little detail feels like a blessing, bringing Ma Durga’s divine grace, strength and positivity into our home this Navratri. ❤️Thank you for being in my life and for being so thoughtful and fab@50 💕

May Maa Durga bless our homes with happiness, our hearts with courage, our lives with abundance, and our world with peace and love. 🪔✨

Time moves on, decades fly by, and life takes us in different directions… but the moment you meet your school friends, you’re that same little girl again. ❤️

Different worlds, different paths — yet the same mad jokes , banter , laughter, madness, the same love.

Because with some friendships, time doesn’t change a thing. It just reminds you of who you’ve always been. 🥹✨💕 #schoolfriends @conventofjesusandmary #friendship #friendshipgoals #friendsforever❤️ @prijosh1 @maltiprabhu by @kumar.arunima

An evening celebrating ART, EXCELLENCE & IMPACT ✨

What a beautiful evening at Monica Vinader, bringing together two worlds united by a shared belief: that creativity, craftsmanship and purpose can create meaningful impact. ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to every person in the room who joined us , supported us and made AKDC what it stands for today . Special thanks to honorable MInister @seemamalhotra_mp @raageshwariworld @tanujkapilashrami @kolsbanerjee @lordnagaraju @manishtiwariuk @soma.pujari @priyankasethigrover @write2sb thanks to our wonderful hosts, supporters, friends, patrons, artists, students, our incredible board and every guest who took the time to celebrate with us.

We were honoured to share the journey of Arunima Kumar Dance Company and Arts & Kuchipudi Dance Charity (AKDC) — from a passion for Kuchipudi to performances across the world, and our growing work using the arts to connect communities, support wellbeing and create opportunities for the future.

Through performance, storytelling and conversation, we shared not only where we have come from, but where we are going next. ✨

And of course, a special thank you to the incredible AKDC dancers whose artistry brought the evening to life. 🪷

Here’s to the power of art to inspire, craftsmanship to endure, and purpose to create change.

Thank you for being part of our journey. ❤️ go check out Goddess and Journey pendants - truly stunning ! @monicavinader @monicavinader_ @arunimakumardanceco #jewellery #dancers #luxury #corporateevents #collaboration by @kumar.arunima

The AKDC method
I teach because… ❤️

Being an artist — and especially a dance Guru — isn’t always easy.

There are so many moments when you wonder:
“It’s hard . What if I put this much energy, time and investment into another career?“
Perhaps.

But then I walk into a class.

And I see a student take that step they couldn’t take before.
I see confidence replacing hesitation.
I see technique becoming expression.
I see someone slowly finding their own voice. Someone finding joy , someone who can now sleep better as they feel less anxious.

And suddenly, I remember why I chose this path. ❤️

That transformation is my drive.
That is why I love this ancient art form — Kuchipudi.
And that is why I keep showing up. 🥹❤️

If you’ve ever wanted to learn something new, come join our Kuchipudi journey in London. 🇬🇧🇮🇳
@bhavanlondon @chelseatheatreworldsend @danceatticstudios
✨ Beginners welcome
✨ All ages welcome
✨ No previous experience needed
✨ Learn • Perform • enjoy

Every journey begins with one step.

Maybe yours begins here. 💫

I am delighted to announce that I will be a judge for the One Dance UK Awards, which celebrate the impact the dance community is having right across the country.

Nominations for the One Dance UK Awards will be closing soon on Thursday 8th October!

These awards spotlight the individuals who inspire, innovate, and create change, from dedicated teachers and community artists to behind-the-scenes champions and visionary leaders.

Whether it’s a dance teacher inspiring students, a project connecting communities through movement, a healthcare professional advancing dancer wellbeing, or an artist breaking new ground in digital performance, if you know an exceptional individual, don’t miss your chance to nominate them and give them the recognition they deserve.
