Hi, I’m Josef Levitis, my combined martial arts experience is almost 40 years of bumps and bruises, starting with boxing ( coming from a boxing family) over 10 years of Muay Thai , picking up a variety of techniques from other arts . For the past 10 years I’ve been studying Meihua Tang Lang Men ( plum blossom praying mantis) under Shifu Profatilov, as well as Qing Dynasty military training, as well as Shuai Jiao under Sonny Mannon Laoshi. Kungfu has become an obsession of mine, not only because of its obvious martial effectiveness and rich cultural history but also because I feel that it has made me a better person. That is why I would like to share this journey with you . Sign up for our online program Kungfu Combat. Also come check out our classes here in Israel (053)5202233. #קונגפו #סגנוןגמלשלמה #מערכת אימוני #מערכתהאימונים#האתלטיתשל שושלצינג #קשתבהטאבן #ספארינג #בעיטה #לחימה

Day 1 diary continued: right before kids competition we got to warm up and of course had some great exchanges with 🇺🇸 USA, Italian Armenian and Russian athletes. All of which was very helpful and we are grateful for it. Especially working with one of the best competitors and a current champ @ciro_161 who’s speed , balance and iq are incredible. #netanya #montesilvano #кунгфуизраиль #shuaijiao #самооборонадлядетей taken in Montesilvano Marina, Abruzzi, Italy by @kungfu.combat

The best part about this competition is meeting people who are as passionate about Kungfu/ShuaiJiao as u are. Here’s a bit of a friendly exchange with our friends from Greece 🇬🇷 @shuaijiaodoukas #shuaijiao #kungfuwrestling #netanya #athens #самооборонадлядетей taken in Tivoli, Italy by @kungfu.combat

For eight years, a forgotten master has lived in hiding, guarding the most sacred relic of the Mantis Clan.

The world sees a drunken old hermit.
His enemies believe he's dead.

They are all about to discover the truth. One visitor. One forgotten secret. One final battle.

The legend of the Golden Mantis.

I’m not saying you should train boxing 🥊 like Taiji but it could help smooth things out a bit, I am saying though that you should train Taiji like you prepare for a fight . Know what I’m saying? taken in Montesilvano Marina, Abruzzi, Italy by @kungfu.combat

Some more southern flavor Kungfu for you! Those big haymakers can be seen a mile away ( some say ) don’t make them less effective out on the street though! #haymakers #choileefut #kungfuapplications #streetfight #кунгфуизраиль taken in Herzog Fox & Neeman by @kungfu.combat

Fighting is context dependent, closing, landscape, cultural traditions all play a hand in how we see combat, what is or isn’t effective. Here’s some Southern Praying Mantis for your viewing pleasure. #southernprayingmantiskungfu #chowgar #кунгфуизраиль #спортнетания #самооборонадлядетей taken in שדרות ז׳בוטינסקי/מתתיהו דנקנר by @kungfu.combat
