Our man Matt Kuo @kuomatthew is in the house! We first met Matt through his work with mxmtoon, when he was touring on bass and reached out to say hello.

Matt is currently on tour as a playback engineer with Cannons, and as luck would have it, they had a gig just up the road from our shop at Dune Penninsula here in Tacoma.

Matt was interested in checking out our 70s SR bass pickups, and we were thrilled that he had the time to stop by and talk shop. Thanks Matt!

Finding peace and home while on the road can be tough. Walking around neighborhoods is one of my favorite go to ways to fight homesickness on the road.
What are some of yours?

We got a couple Mxmtoon college shows coming up. This show holds a special place in my heart. It’s been awesome reminiscing on it and having so many cherished memories flash through my mind as I play through these songs again. by @kuomatthew

It was an honor producing arrangements and creating moments for the @wafiaaa show. This was one of my favorite parts of the show. taken in Baby's All Right by @kuomatthew

I had a blast recently creating a show with @wafiaaa as MD, guitar, keys, and playback. So proud of how this show came to life.

Another YouTube video up! This was a personal one. I’m excited to continue to grow and in this new art form. I love being able to write music for these videos. Stick to the end to hear a T-Pain inspired song that I wrote while making this video. by @kuomatthew

For the past month I’ve been working on starting a YouTube channel. It’s been a process learning so many things. I’m still nervous talking in front of a camera, but I’m hoping you’ll enjoy it a bit! I’ve always loved YouTube and visual content. Here’s to trying something new! by @kuomatthew
