The man in the middle is Howard Rubin. The light above us is “The Howard Light”. When we bought this home, Howard sent us a house warming gift…a $100 bill in the mail (yep, old school). We wanted a tangible reminder of his generosity and thoughtfulness so we used the money to buy our entry light…which we always refer to as The Howard Light. It’s good to have good people in your life. by @kurtjohnston

Hero. It’s not a word I use very often. But Ron Prinzing fits the bill. He was the Pastor at the church where I met Jesus, he hired me when I was a 22-year old knucklehead and when Rachel and I fell in love, he performed our wedding. Spent 90-minutes with him yesterday and was reminded of what leaving a legacy really looks like. by @kurtjohnston
