This is your sign to try new things.
Take yourself out of your comfort zone.

Thank you @deka.fit Chicago for putting on a stellar event.
Thank you @raneka.pt for training me!

You closed a chapter today. It was a lot of work, it wasn’t an easy path to get here.

February….
• unapologetically me
• dessert with friends
• movement while working
• in my She-ra era
• tragedy in my neighborhood
• proof I have other clothes other than leggings
• giving new life to my indoor plants
• date night with my man
• hip hop step with this bad-ass group
• yummy pastry delivery
• more gym selfies with Thicc Boi
• Target parking at its finest (white car is mine)
• My kitty friend that occasionally comes around to get attention 🧡 by @kwillson72

Lifting has built me into a stronger version of me.
But it’s more than that, it has rebuilt my belief in myself. It showed me I can carry more than I ever thought possible. Not just iron… but grief, fear and excuses and still stand tall.

It’s consistency, not perfection. Loyalty, not talent.

Lifting is: humility, gratitude, strength, discipline, discovery and high reward

Today we gathered for a little mock meet and all the participants @ericawehrwein and @catgerrish absolutely killed it 😎🏋🏻‍♀️
I managed 3 PR’s today and it felt absolutely surreal!!

Core memories were made last night. Hanging out with my daughter as an adult is a new level of admiration and appreciation of and for her. taken in Pine Knob Amphitheater by @kwillson72

🚨 💥 Personal Best alert 💥🚨
The first clip was from the Power Bash meet in February. That was my last attempt at 115lbs (52.5 kg). In that moment that was the heaviest I’d ever benched, and it showed. I struggled, managed to get the bar up, but the lift was no good
FF to today and this was 116lbs for ✌🏼
This felt way better than February and it shows. I’ve been working hard on form and getting out of my head 😏

I’ve only been doing this 1.5 years - consistently. I have so much more to give. Thank you @raneka.pt for giving me space to work on me and pushing me when I need it 🥰
