4 weeks post-op ACL reconstruction + meniscus repair surgery!

For those of you who don’t know, I completely tore my ACL + medial/lateral meniscus on my right knee playing tennis on 6/18. Recovery has been a mentally, physically, and emotionally challenging process, but I’m making progress and getting stronger every day!

After 4 weeks of rest, recovery, and rehab, I’m heading back to work in a few days! I’m excited to get back to some normalcy, while also reminding myself to take it slow and be patient with the process - it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

I’m so thankful for all the check-ins, help, and encouragement along the way. I especially couldn’t have done it without the help from Ryan and my mom these first few weeks. Here’s to continued progress and hopefully getting rid of these crutches soon!

Current victories: 0° extension and 101° flexion, single leg lifts, stationary bike, double + single leg press/shuttle, walking with one crutch w/ brace on, and driving! #aclrecovery #aclsurgery #meniscus by @kwordenslp
