At KXR we do everything that has to do with high powered rocketry and more. Whether it's designing, building, and launching rockets in and out of competition; making and testing student built rocket engines; or even doing ion thruster research; we do it all! taken in University of Central Florida by @kxrucf

𝗞𝗫𝗥 𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗖 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲🚀 For the past year, our team has poured endless hours, late nights, and relentless dedication into designing, building, and perfecting Odysseus. It all led to this moment. All that grit and hard work finally paid off in the Texas desert, and we couldn’t be more proud of what this IREC team accomplished. We didn’t just fly, we made club history. Main Achievements: • 📈 Highest Launch in KXR History: Crushing our previous milestones, Odysseus’ altimeter logged an incredible peak apogee of 9,935ft! •🎯 Placement: Out of 141 teams, KXR placed 38th overall — and a phenomenal 24th out of 80 teams in our specific category! • ⚡️ Historical First for Controls: This marks the first-ever full-scale KXR launch successfully integrating an active controls system! •🌻 Mission Success for SHPE: Odysseus achieved a perfect deployment of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers’ “Sunflower” payload! Huge thank you to our incredible team, our mentors, and everyone who supported us along this journey. A special thank you to @shpeucf for collaborating with us this year—it was an honor flying your payload and working side by side to make this mission a success! 🤝 This year set a brand new baseline for what Knights Experimental Rocketry can achieve. We’re already hungry for the next launch pad. 🛠️✨ Go Knights. Charge On! ⚔️ taken in Midland, Texas by @kxrucf
