Absolutely love a solid wood DJ booth, with the dance floor right in front, exactly where it should be 🤌

The photos are such a nice touch as well. Would love to see more of this.

As you can tell, I’m pretty stoked on tree trunks and the opportunity to hide in them. 🌲 taken in Fernie, British Columbia by @kylamfarris

If you’ve ever wondered what my vibe is, it’s our apothecary set from this weekend.

Being invited to collaborate with such a talented group of women at the Illuminate Workshop was pure magic. ✨ Creating in a workshop and retreat setting pushed my comfort zone and made me a better planner and designer. HUGE shoutout to everyone who made this happen, I could not be more stoked about it.

The fog and snow cleared just in time to showcase this beautiful backdrop for a proposal today! 😍 We were so excited and honoured to set this up for the happy couple. She said yes! 💍

Was it a perfect setup? No. Did it allow my friend group to come together under one roof and start off the holiday season with joy, laughter, and love? Yes.

Letting go of perfectionism in my very small home this year meant being okay with mismatched tables and chairs that ran into my living room, using fabric I had kicking around as table runners, collecting fallen pine cones from a tree in my neighbourhood, and using the candles and lamps I already had. The touches my guests loved the most and commented on were the personalized ones: the place cards and hand-filled Christmas crackers. Everyone brought a delicious dish and we celebrated another year of friendship gathered at one table, all together. The beautiful energy that comes with that is what makes the biggest impact. Merry Christmas, everyone. ❤️ taken in Auburn Bay by @kylamfarris

If you’re a music person like me, you know there’s no feeling like seeing one of your absolute favourite artists live. Having grown up in rural Saskatchewan, my favourite musicians never came to where I was, so getting to see @machinegunkelly here now that I live in Calgary was incredible! The show was spectacular. With the vocals on point, pyrotechnics and fireworks all over the place, several talented guitarists, and the overall energy, this is my favourite stadium show I’ve ever been to. What set this event apart was mgk heavily tailoring it to the city he was in. He talked about how much he loves Albertans (including the accent) and was stoked to wear a cowboy hat from a fan. It made it feel like he was present with us, not just putting on another replica of his show. I’m an even bigger fan of his now, if that were even possible. #concert #mgk #lostamericanatour #multigenre #guitar #stoked #calgary #saddledome #calgaryevents #events taken in Scotiabank Saddledome by @kylamfarris

My first visit to @azuridge was an incredible experience! Located on gorgeous land (with a fresh blanket of snow making it extra magical), the resort was a stunning place for a quick yet special getaway. The rooms are well-thought out with everything you need, including butler service, and are very spacious, which gives a really luxurious feel. I could not have possibly enjoyed dinner and brunch at Opal Restaurant more. The seasonally curated food was top-notch and we loved viewing the open kitchen. We were greeted by a Sommelier who recommended the most fantastic mocktails to us and the palate cleanser between courses was presented on a custom-carved ice oval to help celebrate our anniversary. I cannot wait to come back as a guest, but have also been dying to coordinate an event here! taken in Azuridge Estate Hotel by @kylamfarris
