I spent 3 hours on Tuesday prepping a bunch of posts for y’all just for Instagram to glitch and not save any of them so I rage quit the app for 3 more days. BUT I did really want to add this set of @nrtfashions to the grid because I just had so much fun making them! Mixing daylight and off-camera flash hasn’t been something I’ve personally done very often and I was just so beyond thrilled at the results. This set design was absolutely wicked and tons of fun to create in. It’s giving New Orleans witch in summer vibes. Summerween, anyone? Thank you for @sofia_katherine for putting on another BOMB ASS WORKSHOP and being an incredible mentor & friend 🤍 I’m never ever gonna stop learning new tricks, that’s a pinky promise Vendor creds for the Illuminate workshop in the caption 🤍

A weekend can change more than your photography. It can change the way you see yourself. This retreat wasn’t just a photography workshop. It was a space to slow down, disconnect from the noise, reconnect with nature, and nourish the parts of ourselves that often get overlooked. One exercise challenged us to describe each other in a single word. To hear how others see you is surprisingly vulnerable. As someone who has never been comfortable accepting compliments, it felt uncomfortable at first. But it was also deeply moving. Sometimes we spend so much time focused on our flaws that we forget to see ourselves through the eyes of people who genuinely appreciate us. This weekend filled my camera roll, but more importantly, it filled my soul. The words I was gifted: Empathetic Nurturing Silly/playful Layers (I'm an onion)🧅 Sunshine Caring Happy YOLO- you only live once And maybe the biggest lesson was this: the way others experience us can be far more beautiful than the story we tell ourselves. Please feel free to share some words if you feel called. 🖤 Love and Light to All Ash xx

2026 Illuminate Badlands edition 🌑✨⭐️💫 This year felt softer. Lighter. Just as much intention, knowledge and practice, but at a slower pace. Breathing fresh air all day long. Feeling the sun warming my skin during the day and seeing the stars at night. Sof, you’ve really built something so special. I am so grateful to you for allowing me to be there again this year. Thank you for everything. ♥️ Thank you to everyone below for such an incredibly special and fun weekend! 30 days. 5 seats left. And honestly… watching this video back reminded me why I need to keep doing this. Last year, I poured everything into this workshop. Every favour called in. Every ounce of energy. Every late night. Every risk. I convinced people to fly & drive into the middle of nowhere in Alberta because I believed so deeply that photographers needed a space like this. And after watching this video again… I still believe that. A place to learn off camera flash without ego. A place where beginners and seasoned photographers shoot side by side. A place for creativity, connection, inspiration, community, and leaving with one of a kind PORTFOLIO examples. Truthfully, my head hasn’t fully been in work lately. Life got loud for a minute. But last week I told myself: Sofi… lock in. You got this. 💖 Because this workshop deserves it. My team deserves it. The students deserve it. And I know we can fill these final 5 seats. So for the next 30 days, you’re probably going to hear me talk about Illuminate a lot 😂 A ticket includes; ✨ 3 nights accommodations at @bridgeviews_drumheller in their unique yurts + geodomes ✨ 3 chef prepared meals daily ✨ Off camera flash education for all levels ✨ Styled sets + product photography lighting ✨ Incredible portfolio opportunities ✨ The best creative community $4300 CAD all inclusive Payment plans available until the end of the year which works out to just a bit over $600 a month 🤍 If this workshop has been on your heart… this is your sign. Please share this, tag a photographer friend, or send it to someone who needs it. I’m asking for some hemo so I can fill the rest of the seats. And huge love to @niceladyproductions for this beautiful film from last year 🥹 if I sell these seats I’ll be able to have her back again this next month. Celebrating 7 years of Fiore 🌸 How did that even happen? It feels like it was only a few months ago that I was attempting (terribly) to sketch a possible logo, come up with my business name and do my first brand shoot. And now here I am celebrating 7 years and what feels like a lifetime of memories. This business hasn’t just been a financial support to me but SO much more than that! It has created endless opportunities to meet new people, build deep, meaningful relationships, to get more connected to my community and learn endless amounts of lessons along the way. I have had the privilege of planning, designing and executing over 140 weddings, events and styled shoots, as well as create work opportunities for 20 different women in some capacity! Running this business feels like it has been just as much an act of service to me as it has been to all of my clients and fellow vendors. Stewarding Fiore these last 7 years has changed me. I am not the same person I was when I began this journey in 2019. I am wiser, stronger and more creative than I’ve ever been. And I have an even deeper desire to create impact through the work that I do! 7 is the number of completion and 8 represents new beginnings. I have been hyper aware over the last 5-6 months that a shift is coming to Fiore, a new beginning of sorts but I haven’t found full clarity on what it is. What I do know for now is that Fiore is going to be more intentional than it has ever been! What exactly does that mean? I plan to share more as things unfold, but for now, this is what I feel confident to share that I will be focusing on: Less distraction → more alignment Less busy → more clarity Less performance → more presence Less chaos → more peace A huge thank you (in detail on the slides) to my clients, vendors, colleagues, my team and my family and friends! I’m excited to share more as I reflect further and shift into this “new beginning”. Thank you for being here! Cheers to a new season of growth and adventure 🪴🥂 Photos 1-4 @naliawedding Photos 5-6 @lilyandgreyphotoco Photos 7-8 @ashley_daphne
