We are Young With Kids. Parents in Flesh. Children at Heart.

How are we already 50 days into this video challenge?!?! We are halfway to our goal and I feel like we are only just getting things started. Thanks for sticking around for our adventures. Today I sat down to process my approach to managing stress with my family and how I try to be an example to my kids through hardships and challenges as we travel. Problem-solving is key and is something I will preach until the day I die. If you can practice problem-solving, you can learn to love learning and that is the best tool we can give our kids.

We are the Johnsons, a family of six out to turn stress into adventure. We had kids at a young age, so we’ve all been growing up together. Early on, we had to learn how to turn the stress of life into an adventure we can all enjoy together. Life is too short to avoid stress, and the way we see it, stress is a sign that we are pursuing something great. Sure, times can be hard, and we absolutely feel the weight of bad decisions, but as long as we pursue each other and continue pushing for something greater, we will be able to turn stress into adventure.

Brecky Breck is our family’s creative outlet, featuring engaging content for kids and families. From storytime sessions and craft projects to BMX clinics, we bring joy and learning wherever we go. by @kylanjosiah

Hey there, if you’re new here, welcome! We’re the Johnson family, a crew of 6 (plus our furry friend, Frankie the cat), and we’re currently on an epic year-long nationwide adventure for our YouTube channel, @brecky.breck!

Picture this: we’re cruising across the country in our trusty class C motorhome, towing a cargo trailer packed with excitement. What’s on the agenda? Well, we’re not just ordinary travelers; our love of kids and young families has driven us to libraries and BMX tracks! We’re hosting awesome story times and bike clinics specially designed for the little ones aged 5 and under. 📚 🚲 It has been an absolute BLAST so far, and we’re just getting started!

While on the road, we’re homeschooling our kids, vlogging our adventures, producing Brecky Breck episodes, and organizing at least 2 fantastic events in each state we visit! Our mission? To spread love, joy, and the spirit of adventure to everyone we cross paths with!

Follow along as we do our best to capture every moment of this crazy adventure. Thanks for hopping on board with us, and who knows, maybe we’ll see you on the road! 🚐🌟

NW CUP ROUND 5! Silver Mountain Resort did not disappoint! With Pops and Nona joining us again, it made it even more special! Riding, waterpark, yummy food (Pop’s peaches and pies! 😍😋), walks with our pup, and RACING!!!

This summer has been packed with adventures and I am so grateful for the opportunity to create these fun memories as a family! And we sure love our NW CUP crew!

See you at round 6 at Mt. Bachelor! 💫 by @kylanjosiah

Happy 4th of July! Miles won our local hot dog eating contest (the 16 and under division)! He ate 10 hot dogs, tied for first with another contestant, and then won the “toad-in-the-hole” ice breaker challenge!

Port Angeles, WA is known for a lot of great things… but I think we’ll have to add our annual hot dog eating contest to the top of the list! Thanks for the fun memories you’re creating, “Uncle Sam”(@portangeleswaterfrontdistrict)! We love this community! 🇺🇸🎉🌭 by @kylanjosiah

NW CUP round 4 in the books! Whitefish Montana brought the sun, fog, and rain! Such a fun weekend spent as a family! A couple highlights:

Miles - riding “Runaway Train” with dad!

Briar - Hanging with my friend, Scarlett and Maverick!

Maverick - Practice laps with Briar. We talked a lot!

Greta - watching “Emmett Sisters” in bed with Nona while it rained!

Breck - Cheering in the rain with the ponchos!

Kylan - Getting to ride all weekend and be with my family! by @kylanjosiah

Kylan and I celebrated 15 years of marriage with an EPIC backpacking trip! We hiked Seven Lakes Basin in the Olympic National Park (counterclockwise). We hiked just over 13 miles to Heart Lake (ironic? 😍). We arrived to the lake at 1:30 and spent the entire day relaxing in the sun! And then this morning we woke up to the most beautiful sunrise and completed the remaining 8 miles back to the trailhead! It was the most perfect anniversary. I am so grateful to have such an adventurous best friend. 😭 I love you, @kylanjosiah! Thank you for being the iron that sharpens my iron. 💪🔥🎉💖 by @kylanjosiah

Happy 34 years to our MVP! Kylan, today was epic and we love you SO MUCH! by @kylanjosiah

Storm King in all of its glory! We hiked at sunset, finished in the dark, and swam in the lake (everyone except Greta 😅). A great way to end a Sunday evening!

The fundraising and training continues for me and my pursuit to complete the 24-mile single day hike in the Enchantments for Atlas Free! I am exactly halfway to my goal of raising $2,000 in the fight against sex trafficking! Whoop whoop! 👏🎉 The countdown to July 24th (the day of the 24-mile scorcher) is on! So I will begin ramping up my training and the creativity in my goal to raise that remaining $1,000. If you’re interested in learning more, please visit my fundraising page and see all that Atlas Free is doing in the fight against sex trafficking!

Thank you so much for the support! by @kylanjosiah

We got to celebrate this momma in Victoria!

What an amazing adventure to be able to walk from our house to downtown Victoria CANADA! We spent the day walking around shops, exploring the beautiful parks and neighborhoods, eating amazing food and soaking in the sunshine in the city only a stones throw away from our hometown. Thank you @mvcoho for making it so easy to unlock new adventures right across the water 🙌 by @kylanjosiah

He is Risen! We made it to the early morning service at church, and then spent the day at Lake Crescent! It was WONDERFUL! 😭🙌💖 Our hearts are so full of gratitude for the blessings of life. He is good! Happy Easter! by @kylanjosiah
