POSTS STORIES REELS

Aurora Elysse was born September 1st at 10:22am 7lbs and 9oz and 19 inches long. I played this song on repeat thinking about how I knew she was sent from God to teach me to love again in a totally new capacity expanding my heart in ways I still haven’t even begun to fathom.

I am so grateful to @possonwelding for being my rock through these hard days and reminding me how strong I am and how I really rock at being a mom.

Finn made me a mama and Aurora made us a whole family.

C-section mommas - we are built tough and I’m proud of us even if it’s not the path for everyone or we get sneered at (even by healthcare profs). Stomach surgery is not for the weak and I’m excited to feel better again and be able to roll around with Finn too!

Because I was v vocal about the postpartum poops (@buttfirstpod ) I’m excited to say with warm soups (from our perfect nanny @alicianm_xo ) , broths, teas, too much water , and not eating for IG, I successfully didn’t die this time 💩ing after my surgery.

We have a road to recovery ahead but this little girl is already killing it.

This one’s got pipes and at this very moment she’s yelling at me to feed her after he nap, so we’ll keep it shorter than I usually would. I’m ready for this! by @kyle.elysse

She’s a mom but like a fun mom, who fits back into her old booty pants.

I’ve been working my keester off postpartum to not only get back into my physical appearance body, but also get the insides back to normal. I didn’t think that the outside would be the easier one to get back to after gaining 50lbs for Finn. I have been struggling to find my homeostasis internally but me and my virtual Dr, aka ChatGPT , are pretty close. Between diet and vitamins we’re into something!

I wish I had known more about postpartum, not the blues, but just the reckoning attached with the body. I think I heard hormones can take up to 2 years to self regulate again. That’s fun, said no one ever. But we will get there!

I am doing things to push myself back into my usual groove, like taking on a fun photoshoot with @fawnmua and @lindsayren_photography at the @thegaragenewyork . I loved this day! I brought a 1/4 of my closet with me and let Fawn style me like a doll, then got right into it with Lindsay.

I figured because I was last for the day they were going to be wiped and totally ready to end the day, but nope we kicked that fun odometer up and had a blast! We immediately were vibing and put on some fun music and started figuring out how we could book more gigs for the future.

We’d love to all work together to bring more content to life for either local businesses or national brands! Makeup & hair styling, model and photography! The perfect trio!

📍TLDR: she’s back in her body on the outside, trying to get back on the inside, we’re ready to keep the fun going with photo shoots and new talented friends!

If you’re interested DM one of us to get started!

On Tuesday August 27th at 8:13am Finn Edson Posson entered the world screaming and ready to take on the world.

This was my biggest fear, not being a mother I know I’ll rock it, but actually carrying a baby and then delivering. You know how people fear snakes or heights… mine was always being pregnant! So Tuesday was also a huge day for me too, conquered a massive fear so I basically became invincible after.

My little man was 1 week late and due to his size, my size, and my gestational diabetes we opted to go straight into a scheduled C section. No option for labor is easy, I give women around the world full credit for what our bodies and minds endure.

I lost 20 lbs in 4 days after delivering and that’s insane, my body is working overtime and recovering from a major abdominal surgery. Breastfeeding is something I was excited to do, our connection together but dang did it start hurting. We are figuring it out , after a few cryfull sessions. Pumping has helped tremendously - had to trust my gut after becoming completely engorged when my utters came in.

I can’t stress enough how incredible my husband @possonwelding has been since delivery. I think mostly through my pregnancy we were both so busy he often forgot I was pregnant haha but as soon as we got to the OR he assured me how proud he was of my bravery. It meant the entire world to me. I was so incapacitated the first day at the hospital that he literally took care of everything. Went from never having held a baby to full on super dad in one morning. It wasn’t until 5 days later I had to change my first diaper. He’s truly incredible, I’ve fallen so much deeper in love with him, and I’m so blessed God put the two of us together.

Life has just begun..💕 by @kyle.elysse

Time is a thief.

John and I have been going to this orchard since our 3rd date, when I first visited his house with 0 furniture and we baked an apple pie. I forced him to take pictures with me because I needed my friends and family at home to see how devilishly handsome he was (still is).

It seemed only appropriate that we took newborn photos with Finn in the same place and then revisit every year. We didn’t know last year would be the last family of 3 time there and Aurora got to join us this year for our annual trip.

I love a tradition and I love creating new ones. Finn made me a mama and Aurora made us a family. by @kyle.elysse

My dude turned 2 last week and I’m still in awe of everything he is!

I’m grateful that I did the monthly posts for his first year because we’re hours away from meeting his sister and it’s helping to remind me of every milestone.

I couldn’t be the mama I am to Finn without the support and constant affirmation of how good I am from @possonwelding - I’m so appreciative and we’re grateful to have the best dada around!

Things my dude loves now: everything construction, going to the library, asking the same question multiple times in a row for hours, ridding mimis 4 wheeler, hanging with cousins, pooping and peeing on the potty (still diapers but we’re closer), eating oatmeal and applesauce, riding his bike, truck, basically driving anything he can, mowing the lawn with dad, jumping not gracefully on the dogs, reading books, playing cars on the walls, eating homemade bread, snuggling for an occasional rainy day movie, and talking to my belly to say hi to Aurora.

I love this life and when I’m grouchy sometimes or tired I try to remember how quickly this is all moving and how much I will wish for these days in the future. by @kyle.elysse

My grandma… mischievous, sassy, hilarious, fun, goofy, silly, resilient, strong, understanding, super intelligent, overflowing with love for each of her 100 grandchildren… we all felt like the favorites but I’ll always know the real truth. ;)

Christmas will be the hardest without you because Christmas is Spear Christmas and what you made of it with your pile of presents “under” the tree, insanity of trying to find a seat and table to eat at, and us laughing about all the crappy tray cookies that were not going to be eaten.

Every butterfly I see will be you, and every time I hear Feliz Navidad, it will be fleas on my dog.

It certainly wasn’t your turn… there was a line and I know you didn’t have your ticket… and I’m kind of pissed at you because I’m about to claim my prize and I wanted you to see her the most.

I know you’re in heaven finally getting to watch FRIENDS again and sipping tea while doing your word search. Until our foreheads and noses bump together again and we’re laughing at some smart snarky thing we said… I’ll be missing you. by @kyle.elysse

Couldn’t be more grateful of the ones that keeping showing up for @undrunkclub but also all the new faces we always get to welcome too! This community brings me such joy and I’m sad we won’t be seeing everyone until Jan, but for very good reasons ;)

Thank you so much @rob_tario and @ally_tario for hosting us @daisycafe_cohoes @thedaisy_bar_kitchen in Cohoes and we can’t wait to pop up at another one of your many amazing spots!

3 years of Undrunk Clubbin with my PIC @ashleysalvadore92 and we feel overwhelmed with the response each time! So blessed!

See you in 2027 friends! by @kyle.elysse

I don’t think it gets better than year 3 of @undrunkclub & yet….idk maybe it does. Each event, we are just blown away by the response of ladies wanting to come together, have a good time, & leave the booze behind (AS IT SHOULD BE!) cuz girl, you don’t need to drink to have a good time! I’m on year 3 of sober living & truly; wished I started sooner. Life is good, God is great. See you January 2027! Takin a lil break as @kyle.elysse welcomes newest undrunk member, bb #2! 🙂‍↔️✨🩷 incredible photos by the one & only @alenadianephoto 🩷 #undrunkclub #518 #upstateny by @kyle.elysse

Oh nothing is ready…

This is the most opposite pregnancy from my first and it’s such an interesting thing to go through. I was so organized and determined on every little check mark with Finn… I am just surviving this time.

Working full time, chasing after my almost 2 year old hellion son, and having a hard time breathing all while doing it 😂🫠

Any mamas ready for their first week September babies, congrats you are goddesses… whoever is with me on the hott mess express, please commiserate in my DMs.

One week until Undrunk Club! 🫶✨

We can’t wait to see all of you at The Daisy on Thursday, July 30, 6–8 PM. This event is officially SOLD OUT, and we are so excited for a night of great conversation, incredible mocktails, and time together! (Oh! & don’t forget, cottage core theme for outfits if you’re feeling whimsical!)

Trust us… you’re going to want to order a mocktail (we got a sneak peek 🥹), and if you’re hungry, the tacos or chicken sandwich are a must.

We’ll be taking a little break after this event while Kyle welcomes Baby #2, so stay tuned for our next Undrunk Club in 2027. We can’t wait to spend the evening with you! 💛 #518 #undrunkclub #upstatenewyork by @kyle.elysse

Congratulations to my best friend on her incredible friends and family opening. I couldn’t be more proud @leighthebaker and it all came together so effortlessly (jk jk this has been the wildest ride and you are so strong for getting through it).

Her soft opening for the gen pop is Monday July 20th and you need to 100% be there @drivethrubakeshop and @_scotiasweets will be your new favorite coffee and bakery. You heard it here first.

We love you Auntie Leigh! by @kyle.elysse

Dude what? PROBABLY VISIBLE? @flotracker by 31 weeks if you’re not showing your nearly 4lb baby who is over 16 inches…. How?

I’m just saying this is the type of crazy last pregnancy that had me hiding my big ole belly to the bitter end. But not this time my friend. 2 piece bikini thanks to the subtle push from @sarah.b.0719

I’m flaunting this thing, crop tops, belly button is basically my third nip poking out according to @possonwelding and I’m not holding back this body.

I’m proud of this wild “bump” and it’s definitely probably visible. 😂 by @kyle.elysse
