We can't believe 2025 is here and this is happening!!

We’re excited to share a bold new chapter in our mission to serve Houston! In this new season, Citizens will continue to offer catering services and launch a new traveling culinary program to teach cooking skills and create a social enterprise within our own business.

In this new season, we will partner with the Salvation Army and KSBJ of Hope Media Group! We will handle meal preparations for the Salvation Army’s mission to feed vulnerable populations and create a new cafe for the community. We will serve the KSBJ’s community through a new cafe in New Caney, TX.

Our Goal:
We want to acquire culinary items for a Citizens culinary class that the community can book and help us raise funds for amazing causes in our city. We wish to purchase hot plates, knives, cutting boards, skillets, and more to create a small culinary teaching kit that we can not only use at Salvation Army events but also book for live events in Houston. Citizens then has the honor to employ some of Houston's most talented folks and empower these individuals by giving skills, confidence, and opportunities to build better futures for themselves and their families.

About the Culinary Program:
We plan to utilize these culinary assets at our partner's locations, but for Citizens, we would like to use these culinary items to do paid culinary classes, which will generate more income and allow us to give more and employ more Citizens in our community.

About Us:
What started as a single food truck has become an incredible hospitality, service, and growth journey. Over the years, we’ve expanded into two food trucks, a catering business, and our first café in Conroe, and now three more cafes are being built around the Houston area. Now we’re focused on using our experience to give back more profoundly!

How You Can Help:
We’re crowdfunding to make this vision a reality. Your support will directly fund materials and tools, allowing ongoing opportunities to foster meaningful connections that empower participants and employees to achieve continued growth and success.

God is so faithful and creative. I am grateful for 32 years, for his provision, for my family, and for you all for supporting me along the way.

I hope that the site shows you more about what I am passionate about - and that it also encourages you to step more into your own passions.... and inspires you to go after your random ideas! After all - they could change the world.

Heres to another year of chasing God sized dreams. Stay turned - big news coming!

I'm launching @citizenstruck, the oldest drink & dessert truck in Texas! Tomorrow is small business Saturday so show some love!
.
I bought this 1948 Chevy during the pandemic and turned it into a coffeeshop on wheels.
I’ll be serving local coffee from @tenfoldcoffee , cold Acai bowls (smoothie bowls), icy popsicles, and fresh teas. I am proud to also share that I am the wholesaler for Steel City Pops for Houston, after they closed their HTX location. The truck can be booked for any events and will be out and about a few days a week!
.
All proceeds from the truck support @rootedconf and other non profits!
.
Come check out the truck tomorrow if you want! We are booked for a few various farmers markets and holiday markets as well as private parties! Follow us on Instagram and FB.
