Every world we inhabit was once someone’s impossible dream. The next one will belong to those who have the audacity to build and dream what has not yet been proven.

“The world is before you, and you need not take it or leave it as it was when you came in.” - James Baldwin

What world are you dreaming of living in?

Before I found the teachings of Kashmiri Shaivism, I had begun, as a beginner seeker to touch glimpses of these truths through my own inquiry. Looking back, it feels less like something I arrived at and more like something I was being gently led toward.

Discovering this lineage felt like a homecoming…
a profound articulation of what I had only begun to sense… now revealed with depth and precision.

That recognition deepened everything.

Sutra 1 of the Shiva Sutras states:
Consciousness is the Self.

A simple statement that contains the backbone of the path.

With gratitude to @alka_tyagi_tantravimarsha, Prana Ji, and @lakshmanjooacademy for their beautiful transmission of this lineage. by @kylejourneys

Ya Devi Sarva Bhuteshu
Shakti (Lakshmi) Rupena Samsthita
Namastasyai Namastasyai
Namastasyai Namo Namaha

O Divine Goddess,
who resides in all beings
as Shakti (sacred energy/power),
I bow to You,
again and again,
again and again.

May all beings be peaceful.
May all beings be happy.
May all beings be safe.
May all beings awaken to the light of their true nature.
May all beings be free. by @kylejourneys

My favorite of paintings in progress. ❤️

This was a dream commission for me. I love painting BIG and a client who says “do what you think is best.” We styled the whole room around this statement piece - from couch pillows to rugs to table decor.

A photo compilation of one-month of adventuring in Colorado.

I feel at home, my soul at ease, and heart on fire in the mountains of Colorado. And while I can make a home in my heart anywhere, there are certain places I get charged and activated.

Thank you to this land. Thank you to the friends (both new and old) whom I met and stayed with along the way who made this trip so so very special. 🤍 by @kylejourneys

I was invited to the consecration of a Tibetan Stupa. It was beautiful to learn how much intentionality goes into the building it. A Tibetan stupa is like a condensed universe of sacredness. Every layer and every object inside has meaning. Placed inside are mantras, relics, texts and symbolic items, and even items to transmute such as weapons. The consecration essentially “awakens” it, so it becomes a living field of blessings and protection for all who encounter it.

I see a vast amount of similarities between Tibetan and Hindu rituals, gods/goddesses, ethical teachings, mantras, and visualizations. Im excited to dive deeper into their practices. by @kylejourneys
