Norwin getting repped on the biggest stage!

Pretty cool full circle moment. Landon Sidun is representing Norwin at Who’s Number 1 for the second year in a row! Getting to watch him compete from the coaches corner with Dave Sidun has been a true joy. We made a stop at the National Wrestling Hall of Fame & Museum and found my high school coach’s Hall of Fame entry. Really cool moment getting to connect a Norwin athlete with a little piece of my development as a coach and history!

Tomorrow, Landon will take on a 2x World Champ, watch it on Flowrestling! by @kymaphd

I’m exhausted, but the PAUSAW boys’ dual season has ended. On the road for 17 days always takes its toll, but I love being around our athletes! Our boys reached the finals in 5 of the 6 events! Here is our state’s impressive recap:

Boys 14u (Ty Lydic):
Greco 5th
Freestyle NATIONAL CHAMPS 🥇

Boys 16u:
Greco NATIONAL CHAMPS 🥇
Freestyle NATIONAL CHAMPS 🥇

Boys Junior (18u):
Greco National Runner Ups 🥈
Freestyle NATIONAL CHAMPS 🥇

Only possible because of the leadership of our executive board that supports our athletes! Thank you Joe Stabilito Brian Martz Chris Atkinson Audra Elfvin Susan Dengler!

Also, huge thank you to our volunteer coaches! I’m so appreciative to have been with our 16u and junior coaches. People can say what they want, I will never stop putting excellent college coaches/humans around our athletes.
