From one Snowman to another… ☃️❄️

I’m so excited to share that I’ll be joining the cast of The Snowman this Christmas!

Having been part of the previous production where I had my West End debut, it feels incredibly special to now be part of this new version and to continue a tradition with a superb team!!

We will be performing in Birmingham @therepbirmingham from 20 Oct - 1st Nov 2026

And in London @peacocktheatre from 21st Nov 2026 - 3rd Jan 2027

🪡 There’s something really special about seeing a costume come to life through movement. 🧵

This week, @stacieleebennettworth kicked off our summer collaboration with London College of Fashion (@lcflondon_ ) beginning another exciting creative journey with course leader @agnestreplin, the MA Costume Design for Performance designers @unioftheartslondon & our AWDC associate dancers. Over the last few years, this collaboration has become a highlight of our summer. ☀️

Each designer brings an original concept and together we explore how movement can reveal the character, emotion and narrative within each costume.

Through improvisation, creative direction, and playful experimentation with the garments themselves, performance vignettes begin to emerge.

From beautifully crafted traditional silhouettes to bold, avant-garde creations, every costume invites a different physical response. Rather than movement being imposed on the design, the choreography often grows from it - allowing the costume to lead the creative process and shape its own movement language.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful dancers who joined us this week for your openness, patience, curiosity, and generosity in the studio, and to the designers for trusting us with your ideas, sharing your creativity and making sure there wasn’t a pin in sight in the prototypes! 🧷

This is just the first stage of the process, working with prototype costumes. Over the coming weeks we’ll continue to develop the work before capturing each piece as a short film that brings the designers’ visions fully to life.

We’re excited to share more as the project develops. Watch this space! ✨

As an organisation, collaboration is really central to what we do and always an important reminder of how dance extends beyond the stage and is so prevalent in art, design, sculpture, music & of course fashion. 👗
