We’ve finally done it!!!! After 4 amazing years of Stylish Teepees and Picnics we’ve evolved to @styledeventsuk

Many of you know the story working @topshop for 20 years travelling globally to have it all end at the start of Covid.

I decided to start something just for me, something that lets me share my love for creating special memories with other families. And just like that, Stylish Teepees and Picnics was born! I honestly can’t thank you all enough for the love and support. To everyone who booked, trusted me, and let me be part of a moment that turned into a beautiful memory.

This journey has led me back to my @topshop routes and working with @kyras.time

To be honest we’ve been inseparable for over 20 years, starting at Topshop & Topman, I was in Personal Shopping and Kyra in Events. From that moment, we’ve been through so much together, creating memories that have shaped us both personally and professionally.

We’ve each built successful careers (Tanya in styling, Kyra in marketing), but our friendship has always been the foundation. We’re the yin to each other’s yang, completely in sync - supporting each other through career challenges, life’s biggest moments, and everything in between.

What keeps us strong and still laughing is our shared values - honesty, integrity, and hard work. It’s this connection that’s kept us close all these years, and it’s what drives us today.

Now, we’re excited to create something we both love, together. If you’re looking to collaborate and bring something special to life, we’d love to make it happen with you!

Me and Nobnob escaped the kids and hopped on a plane,
48 hours in Italy and we’d do it again! 🇮🇹☀️🍷

Ate too much, laughed non-stop, soaked up the sun with ease…

Penny is five, high kicks and sparkle,
A whirlwind of sass in a glittery circle.
K-pop beats? She’s already there,
DnB tunes, hands up in the air.
Demon Hunter fierce with unstoppable flair.

She struts her stuff like it’s Fashion Week,
“Mum, this outfit,” bold, unique.
Mismatch magic, colours loud,
Five years old and already proud.

Pasta disappears when Penny’s around,
Not a noodle left, not one to be found.
Fuel for karate chops, sharp and quick,
And cheerleading jumps that seriously stick.

She loves her brother, her friends, her crew,
Big-hearted chaos in everything she’ll do.
A laugh that bursts, a grin that glows,
And a mind that definitely runs the show.

So here’s to ourPenny, bold, bright, alive,
Our fabulous, fearless, fantastic five.
The world better watch, it’s her time to shine…
(And maybe leave us some pasta next time.)

From rope drop chaos to fireworks at night,
First Disney trip together, zero chill, pure delight.
Brae the Avenger, saving the day,
Penny braved Tower of Terror while Mummy screamed all the way!

Princess breakfast (living your best life),
Daily bubbles for me, definitely necessary, right? 🍾
Thunder Mountain and us holding on tight,
While Frozen Land so worth the hype.

Parades, giggles, and Mickey meet tears,
Core memories unlocked for years and years.
Swimming, laughing, not a minute to waste,
Then Blake & Margot, the icing on the cake 🙌

Brae, Penny, Dan, my favourite crew,
Best kind of chaos (and queues… quite a few queues).
Would I do it all again? In a heartbeat, 100% no doubt,
…just maybe with more bubbles to balance it out 🥂✨ by @kyras.time

Ma,

Three years today since you left us, Mum,
though it still feels strange to say,
because in all the little things we do
you’re never far away.

You were independent to the core,
always off to learn something new,
evening classes, notebooks out,
doing things the Sue way through.

You loved Dad completely,
everyone could plainly see,
the kind of love that’s solid as a rock
(and probably fuelled by red wine and tea).

You were the best Ma to me and Jenna,
that part’s simply true.
We knew you better than anyone,
we knew your heart from the inside through and through.

And you were so proud of us both, Mum,
you made it known to anyone near,
your friends must’ve rolled their eyes at times
from all the bragging they’d hear!

Blunt, direct, you said it straight,
no fuss, no silly show,
but NEVER once judged anyone,
you just quietly helped them grow.

Your four grandkids still talk about you,
and oh, the things we wish we could say,
like Penny and her karate,
or Brae’s goal the other day.

Eliza’s school place we’d tell you about,
Eva cartwheeling everywhere again and again, and we miss those chats where we’d ask you,
“What would you do with them?”

Especially when the kids feel poorly,
or we’re not sure what’s right to do,
those little bits of mum advice
we always need from you.

And goodness, Mum, you’re missed by many,
more than you’d ever say was fair,
from Chris and E to the Izane crew,
and of course Dave and Aunty She right there.

Brave and strong when things were tough,
even when you weren’t well,
still reminding us we could be anything
(and telling us to work hard as well).

So tonight we’ll probably raise a glass,
red wine feels about right too,
and laugh at the things you’d definitely say
if you were sat here with us too.
