We’ve wrapped up Day 1 of #ABWIPPM2026 and what a day it has been!! From our opening keynote and sessions, our very turnt networking lunch soundtracked by contemporary tunes played on classical instruments, to our first-ever Hands-On Tools Labs, our Day in the Life Panel, and our member giveaway. Thank y’all for making today a tremendous success! We’ve made it over to Dave & Buster’s to continue our evening of networking, we hope to see y’all here.

We hit the ground running for Day 1 and haven’t slowed down yet! After a fabulous keynote delivered by Ashaki Sorrell, we broke for morning sessions led by Aliyah Wakil, Linette Cottrell, Tiffany Kirklin, and Kayvia Pemberton. For our networking lunch, we were able to dine and socialize while @l.stringz and her band provided a musical landscape reimagining many classic songs. We’re amped to see where the afternoon takes us, as we still have an abundance of breakout sessions and labs ahead! #ABWIPPM2026 #BuildAndGrow by @l.stringz

The part of the job you don’t always see. 🎻🔊

Before the lights, before the music, before the vibes… there’s setup. Building the experience from the ground up so when it’s time to perform, all you have to do is feel the music. ✨

October makes 20 years since I’ve started violin and now I’m ready to show the woman behind the experience … and why what YAH has for me can never be duplicated 🙏

DC SHOWED OUT 🔥

And when we say showed out, we mean SHOWED OUT.

@ebonyfitweekend came through Washington, DC and Sycamore & Oak was full of good people, good energy and a whole lot of movement.

@brittdupreedaniels and @thefitrae brought Trap Yoga to the mat, bringing together the practice of yoga with the music, energy and culture we know and love. The room was moving, sweating, breathing and fully locked in. With Trap Violinist @l.stringz

Ebony Fit Weekend is about putting Black fitness and wellness professionals center stage and giving our community the space to experience some of the best talent in the wellness world. It’s about celebrating what we bring to this industry and creating opportunities for our people to be seen, supported and connected.

Much love to everybody who pulled up, hit the mat and brought that energy with them. DC, y’all did that. 🖤

Now we’re taking it down South.

ATLANTA, WE’RE COMING 🍑🔥

November 5 through 8

A few weeks ago, I was honored to be a part of Form Breakthruugh to the Bank by the amazing @thechiquitamack ! Being in the room with so many amazing women and bringing a live instrumental experience was very surreal. Thank you for having me a part! Also s/o to the amazing @djlalee 🎧
