#MondayMedal @challengesamorin my personal best, middle distance and it was my 3rd time I’m racing this distance.

A lot of people asking me why Šamorín, Slovakia 🇸🇰, I said for once in a lifetime! I was qualified for The Championship from @challengemalaysia Forest City, Age Group 50-54 First Runner-Up 2024. It was my first Middle Distance aka 70.3 and I request to deferred to 2025 as I was signed for 5150 OD Desaru earlier and yet I was not sure do or not to do. Since I got infos Vivien and Teryn signed up. I said ok let’s do this as I’m not alone.

Awesome experience especially on swim leg with water temperature 10 degrees (according to my⌚️). The Championship board member shortened swim distance to 750m instead of 1.9km for me it better than zero. Racing with wetsuit was awesome as I can glide and help my buoyancy easily but at the same time I feel that 750m very long distance for cold water 😂

Transition 1: Glad I don’t feel giddy when climb up land area but my both hand numb! I can’t remove my wetsuit smoothly, silly me remove both sleeves together in one time. Lesson learned, must remove one by one and I laughed at myself for my action. Took long time about 11 mins plus cause shivering 🥶 while putting my bike gears and only my bike hanging at rack.

Bike route flat and expected headwind I just keep paddling and I love this ride course. Public road was closed exclusively for event. Aid station was great. Sadly I can’t slot in water bottle to my bike water cage cause not enough space.

Transition 2: Took 6mins plus to change my run gear.

Run leg flat and mixed surfaces from grass, tarmac, sand, carpet. I went to loo twice. Cannot control nature’s call. I force myself eat banana before hungry at all aid stations cause I know myself easy get gastric, drink coke and keep hydrating and sponge 🧽.

Overall happy with this race. More training for next race as I signed IMWA in December. @metasport_trainingsg I need you assist me on this.

3rd Oct 2027 | @bintan.triathlon you did it again. 💙

Sun, sweat, sea and the best community.
Caught up with all my regular race buddies, made new ones, and laughed through 3 disciplines. This race never feels like a race — it feels like a reunion.
The vibes? Immaculate. The FOMO for those who missed it? Understandable. @metasport_trainingsg @metasportsg you are the best

27th September 2026 | KIP Run Singapore

03:30hrs Took the shuttle bus from Sengkang and it was so well organised from start to finish. Really appreciate how smooth everything was.

Big shoutout to the paid bag drop service — excellent and super efficient!

Happy with @metasportsg ’s call to shorten the 21km to 10km due to the haze. Safety first, and honestly I’m glad. Unique run route 💯, The crew, volunteers and festival village was the best. The certificate slogan says it all: “Not Faze by The Haze” — love it!

Was running on very little sleep but so happy with this race. Best part was meeting new and familiar faces along the way. That’s what keeps me coming back.

Post-race celebration with pancakes and coffee by the best Ironman chef 🧑‍🍳 @chefjeff.sg — thank you for hosting!

What a perfect my birthday weekend. I love it. 🎂✨

Community T100 - Nov 2026 | Pack 5

Had the joy of leading Pack 5 this month — our beginner and fun ride pack!

6 of us rolled out together, took our sunrise photo at Yishun Dam, had a quick refresher break at Yishun Minimart, then pushed on to the end point together.

Best part? One rider hit her first ever longer distance, and we had a few riders joining their very first group ride. So proud of you all for showing up, looking out for each other, and finishing strong.

That’s what Pack 5 is about — no one left behind, just good miles and good company.

Sea was very choppy. Stomach was choppier.
Bike was the only one who behaved. DNF but still smiling. 😅

6th September 2026 | Sembawang West Biathlon Challenge 2026
800m swim + 5km track run — fun as always! This was my 3rd time participating. Loved the improvement with the digital board showing lap 11/12 and highlighting the last lap, so we completed the race without accidentally adding an extra lap 💪🏽
Great to see my running kakis joining the race!
