lace : sample [B] : 2025
:
This ceramic sculpture is an attempt to pay homage to lace doilies that were once very popular in the Soviet Union and post-Soviet Russia. Traditionally placed on top of old television sets or other pieces of furniture, they served both as dust protectors and as symbols of domestic coziness. Over time, their practical function faded, and they became emblematic of the aesthetics of the 1990s.

Cone Jars - these ceramic samples are the third attempt at developing these jars, inspired by Aldo Rossi’s cone-shaped objects. As I continue working on this series, I’ve started imagining it as a small town made up of a variety of cone forms, creating a miniature cityscape.

Today was the last day of the RA Summer Exhibition at @royalacademyarts - so grateful to have had my work Fontaines F.C. hung there, and even happier that it’s going to its new home! <3

rock [L] : hollow rocks series : stoneware : underglaze: glazed inside : 9.5(L)x5(W)x6.5(H)cm
:
Hollow Rocks is a ceramic series where natural shapes meet human touch. Each hollow form sometimes resembles the strange creatures we find in rocks shaped by wind and water. They bear subtle traces of the hand, like scratches reminiscent of graffiti and petroglyphs made long ago.
