Certified Wayfinder Life Coach, I guide moms of adult children who yearn to repair their most important relationships.

POSTS STORIES REELS

It requires courage to look inward, to do the work to know and transform ourselves.

My own courage was driven by a deep love for my children and the fear of being unable to repair our relationships.

What inspires courage in you?

There was a time when an interaction like this would instantly launch a movie in my head — a story of catastrophe, suffering, loss, immediately triggering body sensations that left me sleepless, anxious, worried.

I have learned, through a lot of practice, how to come back to my own body, to connect to what's real. It's not always easy, but it's always helpful.

I am grateful every moment for my coaches, and for the people in my life who've held up a mirror to me so that I learned to feel my light.

For so long, happiness had eluded me as I hid behind the walls I'd built to protect myself. Dismantling those walls has been a journey to joy, to love, to inner peace.

Now, as a Certified Wayfinder Coach, I hold up a mirror to others who are willing to look deeply inward, to remember who they are.

As Ram Dass said, "We are all just walking each other home."

The poet Mark Nepo inspires me every day through his beautiful book, "The Book of Awakening."

Today's entry touched me deeply. He reminded me that I have a choice: to let go of the beliefs that weigh me down or continue to slog through my one precious life with pockets full of stones.

With loving support, I've released many of these burdens to create space in my heart for lightness and joy.

I recently experienced a powerful healing journey with Ayahuasca at @anamcararetreats. It wasn't the first time I sat in ceremony with this sacred plant, held by beautiful souls in community with strangers-turned-friends. I am forever grateful for the privilege to heal.

Plant medicines are becoming more accessible and "acceptable" in the public discourse. But what matters more than the journey itself, is the preparation beforehand and the INTEGRATION afterward. These beautiful sacred medicines show us what we've kept hidden, but it's attentive, experienced coaches who help us make sense of it all so we can integrate the teachings and transform our lives. This is what sets us free.

Message me to learn more about how I can support you in your healing journey.

I hear this so often from my adult daughter's friends who have been on their own healing journey, learned to recognize and work through their triggers and are cultivating more authentic and loving relationships with themselves, with their partners and with others.

YOU were their first love, and they see you in ways that no one else can. When they try to share with you the possibilities for healing, you tell them you're fine, and you probably are, because you've been living with the belief that this is just how life is. But your kids want something better than "fine" for you and for the relationship you share. They know what freedom feels like. They know the beauty and joy that authentic communication offers and they want this for you so badly that they come to me and they ask me how they can get their mom to do the work they've done. They love you so much and want for you the peace and freedom they've found for themselves.

Why do they ask me? Because they see the relationship I have now with my own daughter, which was once borderline disastrous. It's only because I did my work that we now have the most incredible, beautiful loving authentic relationship with each other -- one that neither of us could have imagined before.

I became a Certified Wayfinder Life Coach to pay it forward. I help moms let go of what keeps them stuck, so that they can have the beautiful healthy, loving, fulfilling relationships with themselves and with their children.

I recently returned “home” for a week-long visit with my mother, and while I’m deeply committed to my healing, I was surprised by the intensity of the old pain that surfaced.
A single sigh. A look. A comment.
In an instant, I was the little girl again—feeling not enough, not approved of, not safe.
But here's the difference:
This time, I had tools.
This time, I knew what was happening.
💫 Years of Wayfinder coaching helped me recognize the old beliefs I had carried for so long—and see that they weren’t true.
My mother’s need for control?
Her judgment or criticism?
Her energy wasn’t actually about me.
It was her own wounded child trying to feel safe.
That awareness didn’t erase the pain, but it gave me the power to respond differently. I could step away, breathe, journal, reach out to my own coach, and most importantly—remember what’s true.
This is the sacred work of healing:
✨Learning to be with your inner child,
✨Seeing your wounds with compassion,
✨No longer confusing the past with the present.
And it’s the work I now help others do.
If visits “home” leave you dysregulated or overwhelmed…
If you feel trapped in old patterns with people you love…
If you long for peace, even in the presence of triggers—
This work makes healing possible.
And you don’t have to do it alone.
I'm here to help. 💗www.laurielevitan.com

I’m officially stepping into a role. I now see I’ve been preparing for my whole life.

After decades of doing the work — breaking generational patterns, healing the parts of me I once avoided, and rebuilding a soul level connection with my daughter — I’m opening the doors to my coaching practice.

This work was born from the most painful, beautiful, transformative moments of my life. I didn’t set out to become a coach — I said out to become whole. And along the way, I realized that when a mother heals, generations heal with her.

So now I’m here to walk with other women — especially mothers — through their own healing journeys. Whether it’s unprocessed grief, inherited shame, or a relationship in need of repair…you don’t have to carry it alone, and you don’t have to pass it down.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has been part of my journey.
I’m so grateful. This is just the beginning. — and I can’t wait to see what unfolds✨🙏💕. #lifecoach #healingjourney #motherhood #cyclebreakers #generationalhealing #wayfinderlifecoach #traumahealing #consciousmothering by @l_emet_levitan
