Dear Emerson Softball,

The past 4 years of my life have been unforgettable. I have loved every single moment with y’all, and words cannot describe the love that I have for this team and each and every one of you. I have not only gained some amazing friends, but more importantly, a family. It has been an absolute honor to be your captain these past few years. Thank you for all of the fun memories and important lessons. I wish y’all the best of luck next year and I can’t wait to see all of the amazing things each and every one of you will do. I couldn’t imagine spending my last years playing softball with any other team, you have helped me whether you know it or not through some of the hardest points of my life. As I walk away from this sport, I know that I will always have what we created together as a team and as a legacy. Emerson softball, I will love you always and forever, thank you for everything 💙 by @l_short13

I am so blessed and excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Midwestern State University! I am beyond thankful to my parents, family, coaches, teammates, and friends who have helped and supported me throughout my career, I would not be where I am today without y’all. I want to express the upmost gratitude to Coach Spence and all of the staff at MSU for giving me this amazing opportunity to play at the next level.

All glory to god along with all he has blessed me with, his guidance has lead me down this bright path to my future. I cannot wait to see what the next four years have in store for me. Go Mustangs!!
