A essere sincero, lo spettacolo e io siamo iniziati davvero solo quando ho incontrato mia moglie. Poi sono arrivati i miei quattro figli. Prima di avere una famiglia, non sapevo cosa ci facessi qui. Ero perso. Forse chiassoso. Forse di successo. Ma completamente perso. E poi sono arrivati loro, uno dopo l’altro, con le loro manine e i loro grandi cuori. A loro non importava dei premi o degli stadi pieni. Importava solo che io fossi lì. Non hanno salvato la popstar. Hanno salvato la persona».
Non è nostalgia, è pop allo stato puro. Ed è un invito: «Sapete una cosa? Ho fatto pace con me stesso. Lo consiglio a tutti quelli che cercano ancora di essere cool: smettetela. È estenuante.
