To Me, On My Birthday

Today, I pause beneath the sky,
A year older—with clearer eyes.
Through storms and stillness, I found my way,
And I’m proud of how I stand today.

I carry lessons in every scar,
Proof of how strong I've come so far.
Every tear and every try,
Built this soul I won’t deny.

I honor scars that taught me grace,
The silent strength, the endless chase.
Each tear, each laugh, each sleepless night,
All shaped this soul, this inner light

I’ve grown in places no one sees,
Held on to hope through shaky knees.
I’ve doubted much, but still held on—
And found my voice where fear was strong.

So here’s to me—just as I am,
No need to prove, no final plan.
The best gift yet? To simply be,
And feel at home inside of me.
