This is an exclusively Black space, we ask our allies to stay home.

And just like that…the year is over and NURTURE NIGHT is back! Currently, there are only 10 tickets available for purchase.

We’re winding down the year with another trip to Wi Spa in Koreatown on Wednesday, Dec 3rd from 7PM-10PM.

Nurture Night is an intentional space for us to observe the radical nature of rest and ease. More than ever, we as a community are in need of both relaxation and mutual support. And while, yes, going to the spa is “light version” of self care; doing so in the company of people who look like you and understand much of your struggle is restorative in a deep way.

We call you to consider: Without strategic pause, how can we continue to fight? How can we continue to love? How do we maintain our motivation? We will survive this f*scist state by clinging to one another and refusing Their attempts to steal our joy. Instead, let’s remind ourselves of strength in numbers and the power of resting in our own community. Besides, there’s a whole lot that we have to do next year.

Have you had the chance to meet our co-facilitator for Sunday’s BIPOC Cuddle? We’re offering it with Spanish co-facilitation, so let’s show our support and invite your friends and neighbors. Consent starts with us. Community grows with us.

Caro Nieto is a Mexican immigrant in the US who promotes consent and creates safe spaces for sharing touch and connection. Through writing and improvisational dance, she fosters environments where the body can express itself and be heard. She especially supports Spanish-speaking communities in reconnecting with their body’s wisdom, cultivating presence and care.

Caro Nieto es una inmigrante mexicana en EEUU que promueve el consentimiento y crea espacios seguros para compartir contacto físico y conexión. A través de la escritura y la danza improvisada, genera entornos donde el cuerpo puede expresarse y ser escuchado. Acompaña especialmente a las comunidades hispanohablantes a reconectar con la sabiduría de su cuerpo, cultivando presencia y cariño.
