I know it’s pumpkin time in Instagram land, but I’m not ready to move past apple time yet.😅This space always makes me feel like I need to move quicker through the seasons. Anyone else feel that way? I mean I’m already seeing Christmas crafts, which is crazy to me. I get that we want to plan ahead, but what if it isn’t about the things we do, but the things we notice, right here, right now? ✨🍐Just an ode to autumn fruit. Apples and pears are definitely two of my favorite fruits to photograph (and eat). Last night, we made a pear crisp with ginger and cardamom and topped it with homemade maple whipped cream. It was so good!☺️ by @lacy.arrowsmith

Every year, we gather colorful leaves from our favorite spots on the island and then dip them in melted beeswax. They are so easy and make the loveliest autumn decoration. Definitely one of our favorite autumn traditions!✨🍁 by @lacy.arrowsmith

It’s already starting to feel a bit like autumn up here in northern WA. The leaves are turning and there’s rain in the forecast. Truth be told, I’m an autumn girl through and through, but I’m still savoring these late summer harvests.
