On February 17th, the last day of Aquarius season, first day of the Lunar New Year/ Fire Horse, and the “Ring of Fire” Solar Eclipse (definitely felt that part), this brave little soul chose to enter the world.

At 39 weeks I had a change of heart where to deliver, and I am so glad I listened to my intuition (finally) and chose the @boulderbirthholistichealth . Surrounded by only my husband, two doulas and two midwives, this birth was a truly empowering and healing experience and so glad I got to welcome him peacefully in the water. A lot of women are not taken quite seriously when they make a “birth plan”, I remember for my first birth, my OB practically laughed at me when I asked her about making one. I learned so much from that experience. This time around, I figured why not only make a birth plan, but truly imagine my dream birth. So I painted it, and it came pretty damn close to it.

I can’t tell if this is the best or worst time to post these photos… but here we are :)

As the world is going into the depths of facing some of the largest collective trauma and shadows that have gone on for far too long…we’ll be welcoming new life into this insanity any day now.

If you’re interested in yet another take (clearly the internet is inundated with them right now), here’s one that hopefully helps…

As many of you know, I’ve been studying astrology for many years (loses half the readers right here 😆) and many of us have been watching for this very moment for years if not decades.

As we’re wrapping up the year of the snake (literally this week) it feels like the grand finale of collective endings, and with any ending, it’s not always easy. In addition to that, all generation- influencing planets (Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter and Saturn) have ALL changed signs between 2025 and 2026. This alone is unprecedented, and resembles MASSIVE transformations and shifts in the collective energy. With change, comes release. With release, comes facing our darkness. In order to move through this time, we need to become fully aware of what our foundations have been built on (a house of cards… lies and deception) in order for them to dismantle, fall and eventually clear the path for a whole new energy, if not world.

Many have known about the darkest disgusting parts of humanity for quite some time, and were ousted by family, friends and so on for trying to sound the alarms on it. I think as we move through this time, ask yourself, what else could be true and not “conspiracy”?

I could go on about all of this, but I’ll keep it short. Here’s the thing, or a few things that I have learned in the last few years.

Where attention goes, energy flows.

This moment we are facing as a collective, the dark shadows that have been going on for so long, the hefty awakening among the masses right now I believe on the other side of this are meant to ultimately lead us to more UNITY.

2025- better late than never right?

I’m grateful to say the here and now in my little circle of life it was pretty sweet. We moved to a little mountain town, got a bigger yard where I was able to plant so much that I dreamed of. Did a handful of art projects I’m pretty proud of. Put a pair of skis on for the first time in 10 something years in the name of teaching my daughter. Taking first ever chairlift rides and watching her fly. Going to our LAST MRI appointment and closing the chapter of Zinnias cancer journey 🙌 🍾 Making artwork alongside my daughter and turning half our living room into her art studio. Visiting family and friends on the east coast. Watching my daughter become long lost soul mates with my best friends daughter. Watching some of the biggest surf the rocky coast has seen in years in the summer alongside another best friend. Touching so many bodies of water. Catching up with my brothers. Seeing Zinni hang out with all her cousins. Welcoming another baby to the fam. Going on beautiful hikes in our backyard. Learning all the wildflowers of the Rockies. Realizing we’re about to be come a fam of 4 and Zinni’s wish of being a big sister coming true. For everyone who made this year what it was, thanks.

Lots of sweet memories mixed in between. Just grateful for it all. I almost put these here for myself more than anything to remind myself how lucky I am. Because even tho the world seems as though it’s going to shit, there’s nothing more powerful than love and presence.

2026 is about to get weird, wild, and beautiful all at the same time- but as always, let’s do this. by @laericksson

When I think back in 2023, I honestly want to celebrate how much didn’t happen. This reel depicts the opposite- but like many people, this year was the year where I could finally take a deep breath and let things flow. I’m so grateful for all of it. For not having any tragic or life altering events this year. Although every day is a day to change your life, I’m stoked that it wasn’t forced upon me (us) this year.

I almost didn’t post this, because my shadow self feels like it’s a selfish thing to showcase how lucky you are while some parts of the world are going through horrible circumstances. But then I remembered, what is life if you don’t celebrate what you do have?

Grateful for another year, the people who I got to see, and all the experiences that made this year what it was. 2023, Year of the rabbit 🐇 I dug your tempo, but I’m suprisingly anticipating year of the Dragon in 2024 🐉 -sounds fiesty!

PS- I really don’t expect a ton of people to watch all minute and half of this, I’m putting this here as a memento for myself 😇 to remember all that I have. Wishing everyone a safe, and abundant new year 🌟 by @laericksson

Just reflecting on how significant the first week of August these past few years has been to us.

🌻August 1st 2020 was our original wedding date- we postponed due to Covid, so instead we went camping to celebrate regardless.
🌚That was also the weekend I discovered I was pregnant. (Good thing the wedding didn’t happen 😅) Camping also looked a lot different back then.

🏥Almost exactly 2 years later, August 1st, 2022 was the same day Zinnia had her surgery.

Thankfully, without even really realizing it, we have kept the original tradition of camping that same weekend this year. Hoping we can continue that tradition for many years to come instead of the latter. Time is weird, but so many more adventures ahead 🌅 by @laericksson
