Jack came to the Summit DanceSport Championship on a mission, and he absolutely delivered! 🏔️✨

We are blown away by his performance. He stepped onto the floor and completely cleared his categories, walking away with first place in all of his single dances, securing the Junior 2 Smooth and Rhythm multi-dance titles, and claiming the ultimate 6-Dance Championship. To top off an already flawless run, he also won both of his Junior 2 Scholarships! 🏆

Beyond his incredible hard work and undeniable talent on the floor, Jack is a vital part of what makes LaFleur Ballroom Dance Society so special.

5 Things We Love About Jack:

His Dedication: Having natural ability is one thing, but Jack’s relentless work ethic is what truly sets him apart.

His Humor: He is super funny (and he definitely knows it!), always keeping the energy up and making us laugh.

His Brilliance: He is ridiculously smart and has a memory like a steel trap, which makes him incredibly sharp on the dance floor.

His Inclusivity: He makes everyone in the society feel so warmly welcomed, always goes out of his way to say hi, and never forgets a single name.

His Passion: His deep love for dance and music is infectious; he is so passionate about his art, and it shines through every time he moves.

Join us in congratulating Jack on a massive victory! We are so incredibly proud to have you on our team! 🥂✨

We are still riding the high from Barbie’s spectacular showing at the @hawaiistarball! ✨ Considering this was only her second competition ever, what she accomplished on that floor is nothing short of amazing.

She took on a massive challenge, taking the floor for Open Bronze Smooth, Country, and Nightclub—totaling 11 completely different dances! To make it even more impressive, she danced her Country and Nightclub events strictly lead and follow. If you know, you know: navigating a packed competitive floor with zero set choreography takes serious skill, trust, and connection, and she handled it flawlessly!

Adding to the excitement, this was her very first time competing in Smooth Multi-Dance and Scholarship events! Stepping up to that level of stamina and pressure is a huge milestone, and she looked like a seasoned pro out there.
She was up against some fierce competition, but her hard work truly shined through.

Her highlight reel is absolutely stellar:
🥇 Swept 1st place in ALL of her Country dances!
🥇 Racked up multiple 1st place victories in her Nightclub events!
🥈 Brought home 10 phenomenal Silver podium finishes across her highly competitive American Smooth single and multi-dance events!

Beyond the hardware, Barbie is just such a light in the LaFleur Ballroom Dance Society family.

5 Things We Adore About Barbie:

✨She is a Total Badass: Fierce, driven, and completely unstoppable when she sets a goal.

✨Her Brilliant Confidence: She is incredibly smart, deeply self-assured, and knows exactly who she is. Her energy is so inspiring to be around!

✨Her Work Ethic: She truly embraces the grind. Barbie never shies away from the “unfun” stuff, constantly drilling her basics because she cares deeply about proper technique.

✨Her Flawless Style: A true fashionista! Whether in practice wear or full competition glam, her personal style is always a 10/10.

✨Her Generous Spirit: She is so endlessly giving with her time, knowledge, and willingness to help everyone around her succeed.

Join us in celebrating this absolute superstar in the comments! 👇💖

Huge congratulations to our fiercely talented Brenda and her instructor Alan for an absolutely stunning performance at the Hawaii Star Ball! 🌺🏆

She danced beautifully and completely swept the competition, taking 1st place in all her single dances, 1st in the Full Silver Smooth Multi Dance, and 1st in the Full Silver Smooth Scholarship.

She didn’t stop there—she also dominated the Best of the Best (B.O.B.) Closed Silver and won 1st in the B.O.B. Dance Off, earning an exclusive invite to compete in the championship at the legendary Ohio Star Ball! 🌟

While her fierce dedication and stunning talent on the floor speak for themselves, it’s the pure joy Brenda brings to the LaFleur Ballroom Dance Society that truly makes her a champion in our eyes.

5 Things We Love About Brenda:

✨Her Authenticity: She is unapologetically and wonderfully 100% herself, wherever she goes.

✨Her Unique Energy: She’s delightfully goofy, perfectly odd, and brings a fun, vibrant spirit we simply can’t get enough of.

✨Her Work Ethic: Her amazing natural talent is matched only by how incredibly hard she trains.

✨Her Team Spirit: She is a supportive teammate who shows up for her fellow society members.

✨Her Joy: Whether she’s striking a pose with her medals or just goofing around on a bowling lane, she radiates pure, infectious fun.

Join us in congratulating Brenda on a massive victory! We are so incredibly proud to have you on our team, and we can’t wait to see what you conquer next! 🥂✨

🌲✨ Part 2: Straight from the airport to Summit Dancesport floor! 💃🕺🏆

Picking up right where our Hawai‘i trip left off—we landed back in Seattle that morning and headed straight to @summitdancesport that very afternoon! ✈️🧳

Jack stepped out and had an incredible performance that made the whole rush back more than worth it. 🔥👏 From the tropical breezes of the Hawai‘i Star Ball with Barbie and Brenda to the energy in the ballroom here at home with Jack, coupled with sunset cruises, bowling, dinners, and walks around town, this past week and weekend was one for the books. 🌅🎳🥂

We couldn’t ask for a better dance Society. Stay tuned over the next few days as we spotlight Barbie, Brenda, and Jack individually to celebrate all of their amazing accomplishments! ❤️✨

This is what inclusive ballroom looks like at the Adaptive Dance Sanctuary 🕺🏻💃🏻❤️ Preparing for a ballroom dance competition takes weeks of repetition, timing, dedication and heart. Watching Jack master his steps, refine his posture, and pour everything into his rehearsals shows the true power of inclusive, adaptive ballroom dance and the incredible strength of dancers in the autism community.

Let’s show Jack that an entire community is cheering in his corner! Leave a comment wishing him luck this weekend so we can show him before he competes✨👇🏼

We work hard. We dance hard. 🤠💃 Last Friday, the Little Bit team traded the arena for the dance floor (okay, the parking lot 😉) for a little line dancing at our All-Staff Summer Get-Together!

A huge thank you to Megan and Alan of @lafleurdance for teaching us the moves, and to our fearless leader, Paula Del Giudice, for showing us how it’s done and somehow getting ALMOST everyone out there dancing!

We’re grateful for this crew and for opportunities to spend time together outside of the everyday hustle of the barn. ❤️ by @lafleurdance

Why does it look easy for them, but feel hard for you? 🧐👇

The secret between “stiff” and “fluid” isn’t just more practice. It’s mobility. Most dancers try to force a shape their body simply isn’t ready to make yet.

In the Mobility Lab, we focus on different areas of your body to actively increase your range of motion. We work to release the physical stiffness that’s holding you back, so you can step onto the floor with:
More freedom 🕊️
More ease 🌊
Zero “robotic” energy 🤖

Stop fighting your frame. Start freeing it.

✨ Want to level up your movement? Comment “FREE” below and we’ll DM you the details for the next Lab!

✨ What a phenomenal weekend at Colorado Star Ball! ✨
These two are perfectly matched—between the chatting, the giggling, and the beautiful dancing, they had a wonderfully fun time together both on and off the floor! 💃🕺

Not only did they bring the absolute best energy, but Yvonne danced beautifully. Let’s celebrate her incredible results:
🥇 1st Place in most of her Single Dances
🥈 2nd Place in Smooth Closed Bronze Multi-Dance
🥉 3rd Place in her Scholarship
🏅 4th Place in the Global Smooth Scholarship

We couldn’t be prouder of how hard Yvonne works and the tremendous improvement we continue to see in her dancing. Her dedication to American Smooth is truly paying off.
Share this post to your Stories or send it directly to Yvonne to help us celebrate her success! 🥂
