Absolutely—here’s a punchier Facebook version:

🚨 LITTLE PSA: COVID is STILL out there! 😷

Just got back from my cruise and came down with a pretty good case. Several others from the same cruise have reported similar symptoms, with a few confirmed cases.

Thankfully, I’m feeling much better today and hope to be back to normal in a day or two. 🙏🏿

So, COVID skeptics… consider this your friendly reminder! 😂 Be careful and stay healthy! ❤️

Here are two messages that have stayed with me:

Tracy’s message (from a couple years ago) stopped me in my tracks. It scared me deeply, brought me to my knees, and yet gave me a friendship I still treasure:

“Hi — this may seem out there to you, but I needed to tell you because your mom saved my life. I was sitting here thinking about suicide and had a set plan for that night. I had a handful of pills and was about to log off Facebook when I came across your page full of your mom’s videos. For the last two hours I watched—distracted, laughing, crying, but with laughter. Your Mom cracked me up; I was belly laughing at some videos. Tonight I wanted to die, but after seeing your mom’s videos I feel alive and grateful. Such an inspiration. Thank you. 😊”

Maria’s message came more recently and showed me how something as simple as a video can spark an idea that truly helps:

“Good morning Larry — watching your videos has brought so much joy. My roommate (who was my pastor) has dementia. After knee surgery, she had an episode in the hospital where she screamed and yelled for the cops. I played gospel music hoping it would calm her—and it did. She’s had two more episodes since, and each time gospel music soothed her. Even at home, when she’s distressed, gospel music brings her peace. Watching your videos gave me the idea to try music—and it worked. Thank you, Larry, for your videos.”

💖 Messages like these remind me every day that Mom’s legacy lives on—not just in memories, but in lives she continues to touch.

💖 Thank you, Mom, for teaching me the way you did—not with lectures or specific words, but simply by doing. Your kindness, humor, strength, and love showed me more than words ever could.

I couldn’t be happier knowing that together we made a difference in other people’s lives—just by sharing the joy and light you carried with you. That’s exactly how you made a difference in my life too, Mom… simply by being you.

Your actions spoke louder than words, and they continue to echo through the people who still watch your videos, smile, and find hope because of you. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿❤️ by @lag0211

☕ ATTENTION, NORMA FANS OF ALASKA! 🏔️👑❤️

Calling all my Norma fans in Juneau, Ketchikan, and Skagway! 👋🚢

I thought I’d put out a little Alaska shout-out just in case any of you are along my cruise route this week Sept 1-4th. Who knows…maybe our paths will cross and we can create a little Norma Mode moment of our own! 😂❤️

I would absolutely LOVE to meet you for a cup of coffee ☕…or, if you really want to make this memorable, KING CRAB LEGS! 🦀🤣

And yes…there is always the possibility that I might entertain you with a little music. 🎶

I could attempt to sing one of Mom’s legendary Chocolate Songs 🍫🎶—although, let’s be honest, Mom was WAY better than me! 😂 She had that special Norma ability to turn almost anything into a musical performance.

But I do have one song I can confidently perform with some serious enthusiasm:

🎶 “DON’T PUT YOUR BANANAS IN THE REFRIGERATOR!” 🍌🤣🎤

I can’t promise Grammy-level vocals, but I CAN promise plenty of Norma Mode energy!

If you’re in Juneau, Ketchikan, or Skagway and would like to meet, reach out and let’s see if we can coordinate a little rendezvous. It would mean so much to finally put faces, hugs, and maybe even a few laughs to the people who have followed Mom’s journey and shared so many of her unforgettable moments. ❤️

And maybe—just maybe—Mom will be looking down saying,
“Larry…you really think you can sing THAT song?” 😂👑

As always, I’m sending heartfelt prayers and love to everyone out there, especially those walking their own caregiving journey. ❤️🙏

You are never alone.

Now…where are my Norma fans in Alaska?! 👀🇺🇸🦀

Here are just a few of the greatest hits from Mom’s and my journey together.

Behind every smile, every song, every dance, and every spontaneous performance is a story of love, resilience, and finding joy in the midst of Alzheimer’s. None of these moments were planned. They simply happened—and somehow became some of the most meaningful memories of our lives.

These clips are more than cherished memories for me. They are reminders that even when memories fade, the heart can still remember how to love, how to laugh, and how to connect through music.

I hope these moments make you smile, inspire you, and perhaps remind you that even during life’s most difficult chapters, there is still beauty waiting to be discovered.

Welcome to our journey. by @lag0211

A heartfelt thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who wanted a “Norma” T-shirt. ❤️

I’m excited to share that your shirts are officially in the mail! I can’t wait to see photos of you wearing them. When you do, please send me a picture—I would love to include you in this video and continue showing how far Mom’s love and legacy continue to reach.

If you missed out and would still like a shirt, I have a few extras available, and I can always order more if needed. I also have a limited number of beautiful portrait photos of Mom for anyone who may be interested.

One of the greatest blessings of my life has been this incredible community. You stood beside me through one of the most difficult journeys imaginable, and you continue to do so even today. Because of you, Mom’s memory and legacy continue to live on, not only through the videos, but through the compassion, encouragement, and hope that all of you continue to share with caregivers around the world.

As the song in this video reminds us, “I WON’T” give up. And I won’t give up on helping caregivers know they are not alone. I won’t give up on raising awareness about Alzheimer’s and dementia. And I won’t give up on keeping Mom’s spirit alive through the joy, laughter, music, and love she gave so freely.

To every person in this video. and to everyone who has become part of this amazing family across more than 20 countries, I thank you for carrying Mom’s legacy, her spirit, and her message of love with you.

From the bottom of my heart… thank you. ❤️ by @lag0211

Hello, Norma’s wonderful fans in the Seattle area! ❤️

As many of you know, Mom’s journey touched people from all over the world. Through every song, every smile, every headpiece, every chocolate moment, and every difficult day of Alzheimer’s, so many of you walked beside us from afar. Because of that, this trip feels less like traveling to a new place and more like visiting friends we’ve known for years.

I’ll be in the greater Seattle area and would love the opportunity to meet as many of you as possible on August 2, 3, or 6. Whether we gather as a small group or simply meet one-on-one, it would mean so much to finally put faces to the names that became such an important part of Mom’s story.

One of the things I treasure most whenever I travel is spending time with fellow caregivers. There is something uniquely healing about sharing our stories, our challenges, our regrets, our victories, and the lessons we’ve learned along the way. Those conversations remind us that none of us walks this journey alone.

I would especially love for local caregivers to have the chance to meet one another. Sometimes the greatest gift that comes from a difficult journey is finding someone nearby who truly understands and becoming part of each other’s support system long after the meeting is over.

If you’re interested in getting together, please leave a comment or send me a messenger text. Once I have an idea of how many people are interested and what dates work best, I’ll put together a schedule with your suggestions and share the details.

Thank you for all the love you’ve shown Mom over the years. Even though Alzheimer’s took many things from us, it also introduced us to a community of compassionate people that I never would have met otherwise. I carry that gratitude with me every day.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible and sharing some hugs, stories, laughter, and memories in the Great Northwest.

Larry 💜

Every time I receive a video like this, my heart fills with gratitude and emotion. Watching this sweet little girl honor Mom by singing her own Chocolate Song brings tears to my eyes—not just because it keeps Mom’s memory alive, but because it reminds me that her joy continues to reach new generations. I treasure these priceless gifts from so many of you, and I only wish Mom could have seen them herself. She absolutely adored children, and nothing made her light up more than seeing them pass her way which gave her endless smiles. Knowing her love is still being shared through moments like this is a beautiful reminder that what Mom gave to me, she also gave to the world.
Thank you so much Patricia Webb for blessing my life and moms memory🥲🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿❤️ by @lag0211
