The last few days, I have been lost in my thoughts
Growing old is a process.
Watching Amma growing old, i am yet to process it in mind.
Learning to leave Amma alone at home, finding it difficult !

And somewhere in between all these difficult truths, life keeps offering windows of healing.

The light falling through the windows.
The komorebi — sunlight finding its way through the leaves.
The cat that visits our home as if it belongs here.
The green juice that somehow feels like medicine for the soul.
The hibiscus that blooms quietly, every day, for the God at home.
The WhatsApp calls from Arvind, 14196 kilometres away , little threads connecting one moment to another. The 80’s trend photo Arvind send me to cheer me up ❤️

Perhaps healing is not always a grand thing.

Perhaps it is simply noticing.

The light.
The leaves.
The flowers.
The cat.
A familiar voice on the phone.
The rituals that remain when everything else seems to be changing.

Growing old is a process.
Letting go is a process.
And maybe learning to stay present through it all is a process too.

Life is still.

Still blooming.
Still calling.

Rebuilding While Healing, some beautiful days at home with Amma , there is so much beauty at home , in the leaves, flowers, moon , the waves, the food …these days are a journey of rising and resting, of falling apart and piecing yourself back together-over and over again.Some days feel like rainbows and butter-flies-full of hope, light, and possibility. Some Other days i felt like i am standing in complete darkness, unsure if the light will ever come back on.
and both are part of the process, i understand. , Miss you so much much my dearest husband , Please come back soon and safe after the world tour ! Just was not possible to stay in Bangalore, without you at home ❤️!

August and the art of letting go , August taught me to keep what is beautiful without trying to keep it forever , perhaps that is the lesson , to give ourselves fully to the life we are living , even while it changes beneath our feet ,madras was all about being excited , excited in being like two newly weds , excited in being just us for a change , excited in drinking the same filter coffee, getting drunk with rose milks, being with friends , being with family, attending a wedding , reading a book, making a cup of tea , walking hand in hand , oru muzham mallipooo, poori at keylir canteen , visiting temples, divine streets, colour of sarees, Kutty kutty windows , Gomathi mess, and the mauve coloured saree i went looking for ❤️for us any place could be exciting, you don’t have to travel too far , just be in love ❤️ by @lakshmiarvind
