Berlin, you were so much fun! 🫶🏻🇩🇪
Not gonna lie, despite all the smiles, today was painful. Hardest half marathon yet. Everything I had in my head were the words of a wise woman:“the faster you run, the sooner it’s over” (which is very much correct 💁🏻‍♀️). Thank goodness I brought a cheerleader 🥹
Massive thanks to everyone who reached out!! You gave me strength ❤️

The hard side of Els Angels is about 5k and has aprox +334m of elevation gain.

Every single time I have ridden it (before this weekend), I just thought “never again”.

Then @milliegibbons said we should do an all women’s Everesting, and I said yes, because what Els is there to do on a spectacularly hot September Saturday in Girona?

And so it happend that over the weekend we climbed and climbed and climbed and my brain switched from “never again” to “just do one more climb”.

It was never just about the numbers. It was about showing up for each other and making a local climb feel like something special and I really think we did it.

Massive thanks to @maap.cc and @maap.rides for backing women’s cycling and making this whole weekend happen 💜 taken in Els Angels by @lalonsof
