my first two knit garments 💗
I just finished my @tincanknits low tide cardigan and when taking pics realised I never posted my @midori_hirose_knit ranunculus top either!
both were one skein projects because i have expensive taste in yarn but a low budget lol 🥲 I’m honestly still so amazed at how much you can knit with just one skein if you do the math right! my tension is literally horrific but i still think they both look so cute idec
🩵 low tide cardi was made with @gingertwiststudio sweet flax yarn in good morning green (alpaca/silk/linen blend makes the most amazing unique fabric!!)
🩵 ranunculus was made with @labienaimee sport nouveau in khaleesi (literally felt like i was knitting with soft cotton candy 😭💕)

pattern is the Darcy bloomers by @mariajuterud! 🩵 i’ve been trying to get more into sewing my own clothes lately and these were really fun to make, they’re comfy and so cute 🥺 i’ll probably make another pair at some point, maybe in the knee length version next!

also voiceover is kinda scary for me but i wanted to try it out this time, hopefully it sounds okay!!

I’ve been trying to get back into my bjd hobby lately and making clothes for them is something I’ve always wanted to explore more! for practice I made a little pinafore from @soromosdoll’s “glass dream” pattern set 🩵 it’s not his typical style but it’s sooo cute on my @bluefairy_doll Sam!
hand sewing is sooo relaxing when it comes to little projects like this and I love adding tiny details like the little glass buttons and loops 🎀

i’ve been really interested in artist teddies and handmade plushies lately 🥹 i had to try making my own mini bear, and he turned out so much cuter than I expected! he has glass bead eyes and nose, is stuffed with textile scraps, and is fully jointed 🩵 he can be friends now with my mini 1930s teddy!
i hope to start making some cute mini plush to sell in the near future, but i’ll need to make a simpler pattern since a fully jointed teddy like this was actually quite time consuming and would have to be priced quite high :’) by @lambiebrites

Junk Journal Tour 🩵 recently bought a filming stand for my phone and am trying to learn how to make some reels and I thought this would be a fun way to test it out ☺️ I didn’t junk journal for months while I was working on my thesis but I’ve been enjoying it again and wanted to share! I filmed myself making a Valentine’s spread right after this that I’ll post soon as well 💕

two recently finished little projects 🩵 wanted to make another little scarf in a new color since i enjoyed knitting the sophie scarf, but i wanted to learn something a little new so this time i did the winter crossover pattern by @dropsdesign ✨ it’s still simple but adds little picot edges and eyelets!
also made a pair of scrap yarn boot cuffs from some random scratchy wool yarn i thrifted- i may have made them slightly small 😭 but coincidentally they also fit on my water bottle and look really cute that way too!! by @lambiebrites

i’m afraid i’ve been getting into more expensive yarns lately 🥲 was gifted some malabrigo yarns last christmas and made these really pretty fingerless gloves (modified from a crochet fair isle mitten pattern by @brianakdesigns!) but they took so long to make that i didn’t finish and block them until just recently (i got my nails done and they’re so pretty i had to finish them so i could take pics of both haha) 😭 also tried a little bit of knitting for once and made the @petiteknit sophie scarf in a really soft baby llama yarn (berocco talara) and i liked it so much i just bought another skein to make another scarf 🫠 i’ve been wearing it soooo much, both as a scarf and as a little babushka ear warmer thing lol 🩵 by @lambiebrites

I’ve been in a crafty mood lately so I took some time the other day to learn how to make super pretty bows 🎀🩵 Going through my ribbon stash and deciding on different ribbon combos was so much fun, I really want to make more soon in different colors!
The blue ones are for myself so I might sell the others on my shop at some point when I can order some more barrettes for them 🩵

earlier this summer i did something i’ve been meaning to for a VERY long time- i’ve been a hoarder of ephemera for years and kept telling myself i’d make a junk journal for it, but never got around to it until i watched @thrifty.day’s wonderful youtube videos on how she makes her own from composition books- making my own journal from a cheap composition book instead of having to find a super fancy and perfect journal got rid of just enough of a hurdle that i was able to finally start 🥹 i’ve only finished a few spreads so far and want to work on the cover a bit more before i post it, but ive really enjoyed putting them together (though i might need to speed up just a little if i ever want to get through the bin of tags, paper, magazines, stickers, and stationery i’ve amassed over the years 🫡)
currently i’m enjoying just putting things together to play around with the colors and aesthetics, because for some reason writing anything feels like a lot of pressure 😭 so for now it’s mostly a collage journal 🩵

I found an adorable vintage sheep appliquéd shirt at a vintage store and could not believe my luck 😭 the sheep and the color of the shirt were PERFECT, but it was a little long for me so I did some modifications, added some ribbon and lace, and gathered the sleeves (original in last slide) ✨ now these sheepies can live to their cutest potential 🩵
