Years of hard work has gone into this game 🎭 and that hard work is paying off. The Len Johnson Charity match 2026 💚 ⚽️ ✨ Real CommUNITY 🙏🏽⚽️ Three Events & over 3 Thousand people have attended our games 🤯 🏟️ This event has been an honour to put on over the last 3 years something that started as an idea 💡 to see what it’s become is mind blowing these moments make it all worth it some of the biggest names in the UK coming out to support the campaign and to help us raise awareness on Manchesters Uncrowned Boxing Champion Len Johnson 🥊A black British boxer denied the right to compete for the British title simply because of the colour of his skin. Racism held Len back and over 100 years later we are still fighting to recognise a true Mancunian sporting hero. This game helps us raise funds towards the statue in our city centre 🐝 we won’t stop fighting until it’s up 🤝🏽❤️ A highlight of this whole journey was meeting Len Johnsons Daughter 89 year old Brenda who got to see a stadium full of people all coming out to support her dad !!! 🥹 I had a lump in my throat seeing her face when I handed her this years kit 💚 Another big motivating factor to work so hard bringing the game back this year was my daughter I want her to live in a society that’s equal and free from discrimination I want her to know you wont be treated differently because of the colour of your skin I want her to live in an Anti racist Society and working with @showracism the Red Card on this event the message was clear SHOW RACISM THE RED CARD!!!! Finally thank you to the absolute dream team who non of this would have been possible without @charlottelucy_xox @sainey__t @mohammed.abdullahii @subhaankhaliq @tacticalawarenessnorthmcr you guys are all magical ✨🥹❤️💚 Also Thank you to @fieldingfrances who has backed me since day 1 all the way back in 2022 when we first met you have always seen our vision and supported 🤝🏽✨ Shout out to all the FC Legends who have just been a dream to work with I grew up watching you guys and can safely call some of you lads my friends now ❤️ The Trilogy was settled FC United Legends 🤝🏽 winning a 13 goal thriller final score 8 - 5 ⚽️ 🏆#lenjohnson #charitymatch #showracismtheredcard⚽️🔴 by @lamin96

Great chat on @fulltimedevils yesterday 🎙️ ❤️ When I was 24 years old I read an article by my now friends @deej_the_red @barnettobarnetto in the @tribuneuk it was a story about a Mixed Race Boxer from Manchester Called Len Johnson who was denied the right to compete for a British title because of the colour of his skin!!! That article changed everything for me ! The Big 30 today 🙏🏽 🏆 ✨ ❤️ 🎉 Wowwww what do I even say 🤯🥹 the Love and energy in the room on Friday night for my 30th was magical and a moment I’ll always remember and cherish for life ✨❤️ My people really pulled through I felt so much love and just feel so RICH and blessed to be celebrating everything over the last decade with my people !!! Friends came from all over the country from London 2 Carlisle 2 even Kossovo 😤 My brothers you know who you are ❤️ family for life!!!
