Heyyy, it’s time to get acquainted with some and reacquainted with others! Born and raised in South Florida, I’m a wife to my one and only, a mother of seven, and the “NaNa” of 11.

I’m an introvert at heart, but I can vibe with the best of them BUT only when the energy is right! I’m all about authenticity, so no fake or “promotional” sisterhoods for me. I’ve got a heart full of love, but I have no problem cutting ties when I deem necessary (God’s still working on me in that area, y’all).

I love seeing others win, and I’ve been told I’m the perfect accountability partner to help make wins happen!

Now, for some fun facts: I used to ride motorcycles and even owned one for a few years. In high school, I was all about that track and cross country life. I’m a seafood lover, especially when my hubby catches it fresh - no pork or beef for me.

Traveling is more than just a passion for me - it’s my peace. It’s the chance to spend quality time with my hubby and explore new places. So, that’s a little about me.

So, now that you know a bit about me, I’d love to learn more about you! Drop a comment below sharing a fun fact about yourself or let me know if we share any common interests.

Let’s make this fun with a quick poll.

What God shows you in private, He will reveal publicly in His perfect timing.⁣
⁣
Long before my face appeared on this billboard, I saw it.⁣
⁣
Not the billboard itself, but the visibility, the impact, and the opportunities God was preparing me for.⁣
⁣
And here’s the craziest part...⁣
⁣
I drive I-95 several times a week. Every time I left my office and passed this exact billboard, I would imagine what it would be like to see Simply Lovable® there one day.⁣
⁣
I claimed that billboard long before my ad ever appeared on it.⁣
⁣
So imagine my surprise when Christal called and told me my ad would be running on that very billboard.⁣
⁣
Not another location.⁣
⁣
The exact one I had been praying, visualizing, and believing for.⁣
⁣
That reminded me that God doesn’t just give you a vision. He also positions the right people to help bring it to life.⁣
⁣
I met Christal about two years ago, never knowing she would become part of the very thing I had been praying for. While we’re trying to figure out the “how,” God is already making connections, opening doors, and creating opportunities we could never create on our own.⁣
⁣
Now, thousands of people traveling along Hollywood Boulevard and I-95 get to see Simply Lovable® every day.⁣
⁣
This billboard isn’t the destination.⁣
⁣
It’s a reminder that God is faithful, His timing is perfect, and this is only the beginning.⁣
⁣
Thank you, Christal, for helping make the vision visible. 💜⁣

I'm 58, and here's the relationship advice I wish I had heard when I was 18.
Love is not supposed to require you to abandon yourself just to keep someone else happy. ❤️
You can love someone deeply and still recognize that the relationship is hurting you. You can be patient without tolerating the same patterns over and over again. You can forgive someone without pretending that what happened didn't matter. And you can fight for your relationship without being the only person fighting to make it work.
One of the hardest lessons to learn is that love alone is not enough. Healthy relationships also require respect, emotional safety, accountability, communication, and a willingness to grow together.

Please don't spend your life trying to prove that you're worthy of the love someone is unwilling to give you.

The right kind of love won't ask you to lose yourself to keep it.
At any age, you deserve a relationship where you feel heard, valued, respected, and loved.

💬 What's one piece of relationship advice you wish you had learned earlier in life?
Share it in the comments. Someone else may need to hear it today.

If you've checked their phone "just one more time," you're not crazy.

After betrayal, your nervous system wants certainty. Checking feels like control. For about 30 seconds, it even feels like relief.

Then comes the spiral. The screenshots. The questions you can't ask without admitting you looked. The sleep you don't get.

In more than 20 years of sitting with betrayed partners, I've watched the checking loop keep wounds open long after people wanted them closed. Not because they were weak, but because no one gave them something else to do with the fear.

That's what these 7 swaps are for.

Safety after betrayal isn't built by catching them. It's built by coming back to yourself, one urge at a time.

Save this for the next time the urge hits.

You can love someone and still be honest about what being with them is doing to you.

At some point, the question stops being whether they’re sorry. It becomes whether anything is actually changing.

If you keep having the same conversation…

If you keep lowering your needs to keep the peace…

If their apology gives you hope, but their behavior keeps bringing you back to the same hurt…

That matters.

Time invested does not make something healthy. History does not make something right. And potential does not change what this relationship feels like today.

You can have better communication without turning every disagreement into a fight.
But somebody has to stop trying to win long enough to listen.

“I’m sorry” needs to come with changed behavior.

And being in the same room means very little if your phone gets more attention than your partner.

In my work with couples, these are the habits we address.

Say what bothers you without attacking. Listen without preparing your comeback. Own your part without adding “but you…” to the apology. Make time to enjoy each other.

When both partners practice these habits consistently, they give trust and emotional connection room to grow.

Choose one to work on together this week.

I’ve been a Christian all my life, and I’m a little embarrassed to admit…

• I didn’t feel “perfect” enough for God to use me to help others heal. I knew He could use imperfect people, but I struggled to believe that included me.

• I believed in God, but I struggled to believe what He said about me. My credentials felt easier to trust than the gift He said He had given me.

• I could confidently talk about my degree, license, and experience. But saying God anointed me with a gift of healing? I worried about how people would respond.

• I’m not a Bible scholar. I don’t quote scripture on the spot. I allowed what I didn’t know to overshadow what I had to offer.

• I grew up in church, but I wasn’t getting up to speak or serving in ministries. I thought those were the experiences I needed before God could use me.

• I felt confident helping other people as a mental health and relationship therapist. I had years of experience as a program director. But when it came to my calling, I questioned whether I was qualified.

• Even after I began recognizing my calling, I stayed comfortable with one-to-one work. I postponed my program because I doubted whether people would invest.

I’m recognizing how those beliefs affected my choices. Feeling unqualified kept me postponing something I was called to do.

Sometimes the hardest thing to believe isn’t who God is. It’s who He says you are.

What is one step you’ve been postponing? Give it a place on your calendar.

Sometimes the thing you keep rejecting is the very thing God has been preparing you to step into.

For years, I thought the word “healing” couldn’t possibly have anything to do with me. When a pastor told me I had healing hands, I went right back to my seat because I was convinced he had the wrong person.

But God wasn’t asking me to become someone else. He was already developing something in me through the work, the experiences, and the people He placed in my life.

Looking back, I can see that healing was showing up in my work long before I had the language to call it healing. What I thought was simply my career was also preparation.

Sometimes we reject the calling because we don’t recognize ourselves in the picture of who we think God would choose.

But what if He has been preparing you all along?

Stop disqualifying yourself because you don’t feel ready, qualified, or “spiritual enough.” You don’t have to understand the whole assignment to take the next step.

If God has been showing you the same thing in pieces, maybe it’s time to stop running from it and start receiving it.

Comment: “I receive my calling.”
And if this spoke to you, share it with someone who needs permission to stop counting themselves out.

You deserve to have fun without feeling guilty.
⁣
When everyone counts on you, it’s easy to put what you enjoy last. You tell yourself you’ll make time after everything else is done.⁣
⁣
But there’s always something else to do.⁣
⁣
Make the plans. Take the break. Do something simply because you enjoy it.⁣
⁣
These pictures are a reminder to make room for fun. Caring for yourself includes enjoying your life, too.⁣
⁣
What have you been wanting to do just for you?⁣

You don’t have to be someone else to operate in your gift.

I’m 58, and here’s what I needed to hear 15 years ago:
Stop counting yourself out because you still have something to learn.

Over 15 years ago, a Pastor at a church told me, “God said you have the gift of healing. You have healing hands.”
I just knew he was talking to the wrong person.
I went back to my seat toward the back of the church and put it away. I did not spend the following years trying to understand what he said. It sounded so unlikely that I gave it no further thought.

I was confident as a therapist, director, and executive. I knew how to lead. I knew how to help people.
But ministry? That’s where I questioned myself.
I thought I needed to know more scripture. Have all the right words. Be more like the people I thought were qualified.

About three years ago, I began connecting dots I had missed. I had named my first practice Healing Hearts without connecting it to what that man said.

I can see the connection now. I couldn’t see it then.

Here’s what I would tell that younger version of me:
You can ask for help. You can study the Word. You can learn.
But you don’t have to dismiss your gift while you do it.

Being confident in one part of your life and unsure in another doesn’t erase what you have to offer.
Maybe you know how to do your job so well that you keep choosing what feels familiar. Meanwhile, God has been speaking to you about something you don’t feel prepared for.
I know that feeling.

I’m learning to operate in my gift without requiring myself to have every answer first.

Save this if God has been speaking to you, but you keep wondering, “Why me?”

You can take your calling seriously before you feel fully qualified.

I know what it is to hear something about your life and think, “God, You could have chosen somebody else.”

When a Pastor at a church told me God had given me the gift of healing, I just knew he was talking to the wrong person. I went back to my seat toward the back of the church. I didn’t spend the following years trying to understand what he said. It sounded so unlikely that I put it away.

I felt confident in my work as an administrator, director, and therapist, but I didn’t feel qualified for ministry. I thought I needed to know the Bible better and be able to quote scripture when I spoke. I couldn’t see how God could use me as I was.

Years later, I began connecting the dots.
Healing Hearts. The Healing Crest®. Simply Lovable®. Healing by Design®.

I hadn’t understood the connection when I named my first practice. I could see it in hindsight.
And I had to face how comfortable I had become doing what I already knew.

Maybe you recognize yourself in that.
You’re capable. People depend on you. You know how to handle your responsibilities.

But there’s a ministry you keep quiet about. An idea you keep editing. A step you keep moving to next month.
Preparation matters. Learning matters. Getting wise guidance matters.

But be honest with yourself: Are you preparing, or are you waiting for the possibility of failure to disappear?

You don’t have to know every detail of God’s plan to take the next step He’s asking you to take.

What is one step you already know to take?
Write it down. Give it a place on your calendar. Follow through.
